Railway tunnel among attractions at Floriana open day
Floriana is holding its ‘open day’ today, with its gardens and other attractions open for visitors in an activity called Ġenna ta’ Ġonna.
Among the crowd-pullers this morning was the railway tunnel which runs under Floriana from City Gate to Portes des Bombes (entrance near Argotti gardens).
Visitors were also able to go up to the bell towers at St Publius Parish Church, view a granary, and the embalmed remains of priests at the Capuchin Cemetery.
Activities continue till 5 p.m.
