MIAMI -- The Miami Heat will be without All-Star center Chris Bosh on Wednesday against the Houston Rockets because of illness. He is considered day to day.

Bosh missed the team's shootaround Wednesday morning and had not recovered enough to play, coach Erik Spoelstra said. Recently, Bosh battled a sore big toe that caused him to miss some practices but he didn't miss any games.

Spoelstra will move Shane Battier into the starting lineup at power forward and will slide Udonis Haslem into the center spot. That will give the Rockets, who scored 140 points Tuesday, quite a size edge as they start 7-footer Omer Asik at center and Haslem is listed at 6-8.
