Hawaiian Journal of Law and PoliticsISSN: 1550-6177 IntroductionThe Hawaiian Journal of Law and Politics is an online bienniel research journal published in association with the Hawaiian Society of Law and Politics. The Journal is edited by graduate students from the University of Hawai`i at Manoa and faculty advisers from the Departments of Law, Political Science and the Center for Hawaiian Studies. The Journal aspires to be a general journal that focuses on national and international issues of the Hawaiian State published biennially in the summer. The Journal also welcomes relevant articles or commentaries that evoke discussion. Each issue will normally contain: Articles, Comments, Essays and Notes, Recent Developments, Book Reviews, and Selected Documents. Authors are invited to consult the style guide and accepted papers are required to conform to the Journal's format. Current IssueArchivesSubmissionThe Hawaiian Journal of Law and Politics invites submissions of manuscripts on national and international issues concerning the Hawaiian State. Submissions may be made by mail or e-mail. Submissions by mail should include a CD to facilitate editorial review. The Journal uses Microsoft Word. Manuscripts that are sent by e-mail, with attached Microsoft Word file, are preferred. Receipt of all manuscripts will be acknowledged. Book reviews are by invitation. All manuscripts should be double-spaced, with double-spaced footnotes. The Journal generally conforms to the footnote style of Kate L.
