House Tour

CPHS plans to sponsor a House Tour in the Cleveland Park Historic District in November 2007. Board member Carol Ward Bamford is spear heading the 2007 Fall House Tour planning committee.
Please email HouseTour@ClevelandParkHistoricalSociety.org if you are interested in making your home available for the 2007 Tour or if you are interested in serving on the committee. Below is a summary of the successful Fall 2006 House Tour.

Eight handsome homes in the heart of the Cleveland Park Historic District were featured in the CPHS sponsored fall 2006 House Tour October 29. Approximately 200 folks enjoyed the opportunity to see the interiors of these homes, all located on Newark and Macomb Streets east of 34th Street. The ages of the homes and their architectural styles varied substantially as is characteristic of homes throughout the Historic District. The oldest home on the Tour was built in 1900, and the architectural styles included late Victorian, foursquare with arts and craft features, traditional colonial, and bungalow. The interiors of the homes were equally varied, handsome, and interesting.
