Introduction
People's Liberation Army and Partisan detachments of Yugoslavia (NOV i POJ) simply known as Yugoslav partisans started in 1941 as detachments of dozen soldiers growing up to over 800,000 strong army by the end of the war forcing Axis to constantly divert more resources to control territory it considered conquered.
