Seventeen-year-old Matthew Underwood has been playing "bad boy" Logan Reese on Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 since the show launched. In real life, though, Matthew is a very well-spoken, well-read, and caring guy. Here's what the Florida native has to say for himself in response to our "deep" questions....

Sign: Taurus.

Birthplace: Ft. Pierce, FL.

My house is: Blocks from the beach. I've always lived by the ocean and I always will. There's nothing like taking a walk and being able to smell the ocean breeze.

The first thing I do every morning is: Take my golden retriever puppy for a walk.

My cell phone brand is: Sprint, for their P.D.A phone, and soon to be Cingular, for the iPhone. Which I have to have.

About my pets: I have a 1-year-old iguana named "Zim," a 2-year-old spider named "E.L.F.," which means, Eight Legged Freak, a 1-year-old Tokay Gecko named "Spot," a 2-year-old cat named "GIR," and a 12-week-old golden retriever named "Zeppelin."

I exercise: Every day. I think it's very, very important to stay in shape.

Lately I've been surprised by: The weather. It was extremely cold this winter and I'm afraid it's going to be extremely hot this summer.

The cereals in my cupboard are: Cinnamon Life and Swirlz.

Heaven on earth is: The ocean during the summer. I could spend all day, every day at the beach.

For dinner, I like to make: Different types of pastas. I love to make Italian food.

I'll eat sushi, but not: I'll never eat seafood again, but I'll eat anything else.

My coolest article of clothing: Is the Diesel Jeans I'm wearing right now. I wore them on the show for like four episodes and then they let me have them.

My most prized possession: Is my Harley Davidson Motorcycle Boots. I wear them every day.

My TV screen is: Sixty-five inches in my bedroom and I couldn't live without it.

When friends come over, we: Play Monopoly and listen to music. We also take tons of pictures on my iMac.

My favorite TV channel is: Nickelodeon, duh....

My first financial splurge: Was my new BMW. I got it before I even had my permit.

Wackiest fan encounter: Little girls that think I'm really "Logan." They usually cry and hide behind their parent's legs. But then they always warm up to me and realize I'm a nice guy.

TV show I never miss: The Office is clearly the funniest show on TV. But I can't live without watching Eureka. It's my favorite show of all time and I watch it constantly on my iPod.

Before I die, I want to: Help the world realize everything we do affects the world and the people that live on it. We need to help each other because without one another we would be alone.

The best perk of being a celebrity is: Being able to meet people that feel like they already know me because they watch me on TV every day. It's a lot easier to make new friends.

Celebrity whom I'd ask for an autograph: Steve Jobs. I know he's not exactly a "celebrity" but he's changed the world with the movies he's made and the products he's developed. There are so many things I use every day that he developed. I couldn't send this e-mail without an iMac, which he makes.

Dream car: BMW 750 Li. It's the sexiest, classiest car on the market.

When I fly I have to: Have Altoid Sours. I bought them in the airport the first time I ever flew and I've made it a tradition.

People would be surprised that I: Am a huge supporter for charity and the well-being of mankind. I write little quotes all the time to help encourage people to come together, like this one: "If fate happens to toss you a lightbulb, use it to light the path of others, for they will use theirs to light the path of you. With your light together with mine, it's two times as bright and twice as strong. If we could join a nation in a banner of bulbs, we could light the universe and show the way of life to those who could not see it. If we could join the world in a billboard of fluorescence, we could shine a light to heaven, and help the blind see the beauty of the angels around them."

Book I'm reading: I am currently reading a couple of books. One is Under The Black Flag, which is a book explaining what it was like to work and run a real pirate ship. Another is The Pirate Hunter, The True Story Of Captain Kidd, which is a book about the life of one of the most famous pirates of all time, Captain Kidd.

Favorite cartoon: Definitely South Park. It's hilarious and I can't get enough of it. I downloaded all the seasons on iTunes.

The DVD release I was most excited about was:Pirates of The Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest.

My iPod playlist: John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, The Who. I can't start my day without hearing "Waiting On the World to Change" by John Mayer. It's my alarm clock and my favorite song.

If I had to spend $10 at my favorite fast-food joint, I'd order: Two number ones with ketchup and grilled onions only from In-N-Out Burger.
