Harvard, MIT Lead Most Prestigious Universities, Study Reports

Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology were ranked the world’s most prestigious universities, according to a survey compiled for London-based Times Higher Education magazine.
The U.S. took seven of the top 10 places and 45 of the top 100, the magazine said in its first study of academic reputation. Cambridge and Oxford along with the University of Tokyo were also among the top 10, according to the poll by Ipsos Media CT for Thomson Reuters, the magazine’s data supplier.
