From playfully roasting her husband, Parmeet Sethi, to hilariously dubbing her son Ayushmaan a "struggling actor," Archana shares candid moments with her family, offering a heartfelt and entertaining glimpse into their everyday antics and relationships.
While introducing her family, Archana forgets husband Parmeet Sethi’s presence. She tells, “Patidev ko kaise bhul gayi main. Maarega mujhe jab wo dekhega.” Parmeet cutely reacted saying, “Main sunn raha tha tu mujhe bhul gayi. 36 saal see peechhe peechhe ghum raha hu. Tu naam lena bhul gayi.”
“In the lockdown videos you saw doing a lot of work. Now he doesn’t work. He just sits in front of the TV and watches sports,” shared Archana. Parmeet says, “I am a man,” to which she replied, “There is nothing about man or a woman. My sister also watches sports.” Parmeet says, “I should have married her,” and Archana replied, “She would have rejected you.”
Parmeet says, “We don’t need DNA test,” and his son says, “Mujhe bahut comments aate hai Xerox copy, photocopy.” Archana replies, “Once I got a comment, ‘yeh Parmeet itne young kaise ho gaya.’” Ayushmaan then says, “People recognise me on road and id ‘you exactly look like that actor Kuljeet from DDLJ’ and I say haan wo mere dad hai.” Archana also shared that Parmeet has a lot of female fan following and says, “I am not jealous. I am better than anybody.”
Archana says, “He is my mother’s laadla. Isko meri mummy ne hi paala hai. He is my son, actor hai, bahut struggle kar raha hai. Auditions de raha hai aur kahin kahin shortlist bhi ho jta hai toh mujhe bahut achha lagta hai.”
Introducing her mother, she said, “This is my mother. 94-yrs ki hai. Meri shakal milti hai aur skin bhi. I just hope mere wrinkles na ho. She has a friends circle and goes to meet them everyday.”
Archana catches her father-in-law eating sweets and Parmeet reminds him that he has diabetes. Archana tells Parmeet not to scold. Archana calls him ‘uncle’ and says, “Parmeet also calls my parents uncle, aunty. And we had decided that we would call them uncle-aunty and not mummy-papa. It’s ok.”
Archana also introduces her elder son Aaryaman, who is in Bengaluru for his treatment. She shares that he is a musician, who also writes and composes songs. Archana shared that he is closer to Parmeet and they talk about sports, she doesn’t keep calling him that much.
