A fan, who was cheering the Pirates from the stands at the PNC Park, fell from the right field bleachers above the 21-foot Clemente Wall and was critically injured. The shocking moment was captured on camera by others at the PNC Park and went viral on social media.
EMS, police, and trainers immediately attended to the fan who fell on the warning track. He was later placed on a stretcher and carted off the field. Pittsburgh Public Safety said that the man was taken to a hospital in critical condition. As of this writing, the injured fan has not been identified.
