Raid 2 Box Office Collection Day 7: Ajay Devgn's Film Crosses Rs 90 Crore Mark In First Week

Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 had a strong start, earning Rs 19.25 crore on day 1. Thanks to good word-of-mouth, the sequel picked up again on the weekend with Rs 22 crore. However, the collections dipped in the following days. Despite the ups and downs, the film has crossed Rs 90 crore at the box office in its first week.

On Wednesday, the movie earned Rs 4.75 crore. This brought its total to Rs 90.50 crore.

If the buzz continues, the movie may cross the Rs 100 crore mark very soon. Recently, trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Raid2 is now on track to enter the 100 cr Club by Thursday/Friday."

The sequel to Ajay's crime thriller brings Vaani Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh into pivotal roles.

Helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film builds on the success of the 2018 hit, which was based on a real tax raid from the 1980s.

In the second instalment, Ajay reprises his role as the fearless Income Tax officer, now locking horns with Deshmukh’s negative character, Dadabhai.
