Kareena Kapoor Khan and sass are a match made in Bollywood heaven! The actress made a stunning appearance on day two of the World Audio Visual and Entertainment (WAVES) Summit 2025 at Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai, where she shared the stage with Vijay Deverakonda and Karan Johar for an engaging panel discussion. When the topic of Hollywood came up, Kareena’s response was pure gold.

Kareena on joining Hollywood

Karan Johar jokingly mentioned, "Sab log bus Hollywood pakad pakad ke jaa rahe hai," (Everyone is just rushing to Hollywood), to which Kareena swiftly replied, "I’m very happy with Indian movies and acting." She added with her flair, "Bada mazza aata hai, humare Hindi gaano pe dance karna, Hindi dialogues bolna. ‘Bhatinda ki sikhni hu bhai’ baar baar bolna achaa lagta hai."
(I really enjoy dancing to our Hindi songs and speaking Hindi dialogues. I love saying 'Bhatinda ki sikhni hu bhai' over and over again)
Kareena didn’t stop there. Going forward, our Bebo also gave us the best explanation for her iconic dialogue 'Main apni favourite hoon'. She quipped, "I feel that line 'Main apni favourite hoon' is very important because every girl and woman should always say that line. That's the best."

Kareena's upcoming project

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Singham Again, alongside Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone, directed by Rohit Shetty. Her upcoming project is Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra, a crime drama starring Kareena and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film explores crucial social issues and the complex themes of crime, punishment, and justice.
And to top it all off, Kareena made the announcement of Daayra on the day she celebrated 25 glorious years in Hindi cinema, sharing her excitement: "I’ve always said that I’m a director’s actor… and this time I cannot wait to work with one of the finest directors we have, @meghnagulzar & alongside the magnificent @therealprithvi, whose work I deeply admire. To my dream team, #Daayra let’s do this."
