Surrogacy can involve dreadful exploitation in some cases. It is morally repugnant to see people renting wombs from women in poor countries, no matter how they try to dress it up. You don’t have a right to have a child at any cost, not least the cost to both the child and the exploited woman who gave birth to that child.
