it was amazing

How have I missed out on this book for so many years? The premise of living a life without agency is something to think about. I can't tell you how often I have wished (prayed) for a world filled with only peace and happiness, where no one feels pain, hunger or sadness. This book made me seriously rethink that wish and realize - once and for all - that without feeling the depths of sadness, we can never know happiness. What an amazing story!

Jorge Hernandez I realy enjoyed this book to is was a great book. I liked the part when the trade memories of cold to keep them cold so that they would not find them. This book was pretty sad in some parts but it was still good. I also agree with you that we cant truly know what happiness is. I gave this book a 4 star rating because it was good. What was your favorite part?

Flora Are you serious? For I think that I wouldn't like a world without music, art or even colours! Imagine that.

Zoramarque I think it was pretty good and cant wait to see the movie

Cecelia It's a movie? I didn't realize that!

Kari I think the world would be very boring without pain or suffering. Without pain, happiness is bland and becomes the norm almost so much that you no longer feel happy. I really liked this book like you did and I understand why you used to wish for only peace and happiness because of all the suffering in the world.
