It’s a Hard Knock Life …
Marcos Rivera lives life in the fast lane making cash the fast way. He tried to go pro in fighting like his cousin Chuito did, unfortunately his criminal record stopped that from happening. He quickly found himself wanting to do what came easy. Stealing. The need to make ends meet consumes his mind..as an active gang member in the heart of Miami. All the while knowing his future will abruptly end in one of two places… In a coffin buried six feet under or in prison becoming a caged man for life.
Thug life cares not who you are and has a recurring pattern of taking people out of the game no matter the race, age or creed.
He’s tried to do things the right way. He got a job and worked for hourly wages earned legally. Only it’s not easy to do when the cops are breathing down your employers back looking for crimes not taking place in their work establishment. Due to the cops zeroing in on him Marcos finds himself let go from the blue collar jobs once the employer’s has had enough of being harassed by the Miami PD.
So life the hard way it is, because in his mind it was the only way.
“You know all those things going around in your mind. The stuff you know gangs do, but you’re telling yourself I’m different. That I’ve never done them.” Katie shook her head in disbelief. “I don’t care if you’ve stolen a few cars” “We’re not talking about cars.”
Katie Foster is the EXACT opposite of Marcos. She’s a straight laced history teacher living in Garnet, a small town where everyone knows each other. Garnet is the polar opposite from the fast streets of Miami; kind of like the two main characters themselves…Katie and Marc. Hmmm…is there a hint of symbolism in there Ms.Moon? *Grins*
While visiting his cousin Chuito, in Garnet, Marc and Katie cross paths in a way neither saw coming. That meeting sticks to both of them. You see, all it took was a chance meeting where two people connect for an impression to take root.
Gone is the ‘sweet go by the book and obey what you say Katie.’ Now she’s the ‘don’t tell me what to do or where to go because I run my own life Katie.’ She’s bolder and she likes it. All thanks to that one night where two totally different worlds collide.

I beez in the trap Katie attempts to reach out to Marc after that night. What should be easy instead becomes difficult. She finds herself being hit with opposition. And Marc…well he finds himself in the trap. (NOTE: The trap is street vernacular for someone who hustles to get fast cash)
The Characters My heart ached for Marco. He just cannot seem to catch a break. Trying to steer clear of gang life becomes nearly impossible as much as he may try. His past finds a way to bite him in the a**. He quickly gets sucked back in. What I loved was his feelings toward Katie. He really likes her and he openly admires her strength and beauty. He’s also honest with himself knowing that with his lifestyle a future with her is inconceivable.
Katie in turn is pretty much down for whatever as long as it includes Marcos being part of her life. She wants ALL of him…The good, the bad and the ugly.

My Thoughts I loved it!! Kele Moon pulled me in and held me from beginning to end. I was actually expecting something different but found myself very happy with what I got. Two true to life characters facing everyday adversities pertaining to their lifestyle and what each has lived through. That’s all I can say without spoiling anything.
The Chemistry is explosive between Marcos and Katie. Kele Moon writes some pretty steamy scenes with these two. The writing overall flows well and will definitely have you wanting to know the secondary characters just a bit more.
My Ratings Characters- Sweet, Sexy and Intriguing. I want MORE Chuito Writing Style- Strong and Genuine like it’s characters Plot/Storyline- Good girl changes after meeting a bad boy with a troubled heart who comes off as if the whole world against him. The good girl grows a back bone and then decides she wants her bad boy. Steam Factor- High/Steamy On a scale of 1-10 I say 7.5 Entertainment Level- From Lo-Med-Hi I say Medium Overall- I loved it! If I was being honest with myself, I could admit that there’d always been that little part of me in the very, way back, teeny, tiny corner of my mind that had appreciated him as the fine ass male specimen he was… but I’d never had the urge to act on it. Until that drunken night when I let my lips get me in trouble. And where did it land me? Running away like a scared little bitch because someone said something that hurt. -Chloe
The book opens Chloe and Brandon are tip toeing around one another after sharing a passionate kiss while in California. When Allie her friend and boss takes notice and asks her point blank what’s going on Chloe blurts out that they kissed. While Allie is taken aback by this she quickly recovers and actually encourages Chloe to pursue Brandon. In fact, Allie decides to play match maker.
Brandon just came out of a not so practical relationship where he decided to leave before hearts get broken. He is hesitant when it comes to Chloe. He already loves her, he’s known her for a longtime because their older brothers are best friends they’re like family…Only his feelings are no longer of the innocent kind when it comes to Chloe.
Here’s the thing though…there are things about Chloe that she keeps hidden from everyone. You know what they say right? Whatever is left in the dark will eventually find its way to the light.
I left L.A. a broken and battered mess, running to the little town of Phillus, Ohio…
I don’t think Chloe considered that she might have to confess all. Or maybe she did. I know one thing, what she survived…no one should EVER have to go through.

Should the first two books in the series be read before this? Yes, readers first meet Brandon in Skin Deep, he’s the sexy flirtatious younger brother of Lucas, the hero in book #1. Do you need to read the series in order, yes, I think you should. Small bits of Chloe are in book #2 and PLENTY of Brandon is in the first two books so you’ll get to see his progression in each book.
Characters I loved? Nanny!!! She is HILARIOUS! Allie too, she is so freaking cute and witty!
Characters I hated? Greg.
My Thoughts J.M. Stone provides great laughs, a good dose of steam and some very VERY cute moments. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick steamy read with great comedic relief. Note: The story does teeter over to the dark side but not for too long.

So I guess this is one of those everybody loves it except for me type deals.
Twenty year old Emily was recently attacked and has decided that she wants to get some defense lessons. She along with her best friend Kat go to an underground fight to seek out the best. A fighter that goes by the name Sculpt.
Things escalate from there pretty quickly.
We get some background on Emily but Sculpt..the only thing we learn about him is his first name. Logan. His past is mystery nobody really knows much about him. None of this deters Emily of course, instead she allows the relationship to move forward without asking man questions. In fact I think it was during their first sexual encounter that he actually told her his name.

That's just...WRONG.
For me personally things just progressed to quickly for me the whole scene near the beginning there is a small time jump. 5weeks have suddenly passed by and Sculpt has been working with Emily on her self defense moves. Next thing I know he is totally in to her after initially saying she basically had no chance with him.

This makes ZERO sense to me. I mean I would have at least liked a few fighting lessons of actual bonding time before that happens. The novella was about sixty-seven pages, ten more of bonding or relationship building would of helped me out a bit. I THINK..
While the ending leaves you screaming WTF and I originally wanted to read Torn From You, I don't think I will be continuing with the series. It's just not for me. However like I said I am in the minority a lot of my friends have enjoyed this series thus far.
My Recommendation: Read at your own risk, to each his/her own....more

Denver Dempsey is happy to leave behind her hometown of Anaconda, Montana. After all being seen as the high school slut is no fun and being listed as a cast out for it is even worse.

To say that she could not handle it is an understatement she usually solved issues with her fist. Maybe I should say she defended herself with her fist, yeah, that’s more accurate. Backing her every step of the way is Greer, her best friend. The guy she also leaves behind after high school when she goes off to college.

It seems natural that she as the number one barrel racer and he as the number one bull rider should hook up right? At least…in her mind it does. Oh, and by hook up I mean just that, sex with no strings. When she finally makes her way across the room and speaks to him that desire solidifies.

There’s just one problem, Ransom is not the only one vying for Denver. Greer. Where do I even begin with him? Greer, is Denver’s best friend and he is also a friend ‘with benefits’ and he wants more. He loves her, always has always will. And all he wants is for her to give him a chance.

They’ve been best friends since they were in diapers, and he has given her his heart knowing she has no idea how to truly care for it.
Now here is the thing you should know about Denver, she’s the girl with her middle finger to the world and has every right to be that way. She is the daughter of a whore and her mother’s sins seemed to have infiltrated in to her pores. Denver is a self confessed slut.

I wonder how long it will be before she removes the blockades.
I wonder what it will take for her to see herself more clearly.
Tread lightly, because everything is not exactly what it seems WITH ANY of these characters. Lynetta Halat does an awesome job with peeling the layers off of her main characters slowly. In the beginning she gives us a little past to present to let us catch up on what's going on with Denver. I enjoyed reading about Denver, Greer and Ransom. I especially like how Halat allowed us to see things at the right moments. That peeling away of the layers process is what stood out to me the most in her writing, well that and..this one really hot scene *wiggles eyebrows* BEST DRY HUMPING SCENE EVAH!!!!!

My Sweet and Sour My Sweet – Austin, I LOVE AUSTIN!!!! I really hope he gets his own book! The guy is hilarious!
My Sour - To my dismay there is zero character growth with Denver she struggled up until the end with herself loathing and I think Halat intended for it to be that way; this is a 3 book series.
My thoughts Used is pretty steamy and has some twists that I did not see coming. I absolutely LOVED the secondary characters. Maggie and Austin kept my attention just as much as the main three. And Halat gave us just enough to want more. I would love to get to know Pete and Maggie in their own book as well as Austin. YES, MORE AUSTIN!
The writing was something I struggled with juuust a little, it took me a while to get in to the book. By a while I’m talking a good 35% before I was officially hooked in. And even then, Used was floating at the 3 star mark up until the last 30% for me, around then it became a 4 star book.
What I loved immensely and I know others will too… was the dual pov! I’m very curious to see what will happen in the next book. In case you’re wondering..YES, I will be continuing with the series.
My Rating and Why I gave Used 3.5 stars because Denver was a really hard chick for me to connect with. Not only that, I also struggled with her internal self hate battles that only seemed to progress throughout the book. That bugged me a bit, no…no it bugged me a lot. She continuously called herself a slut and just accepted it as a fact.
As a reader you clearly see that she is more. She is STRONG, KIND, SMART, CARING and very TALENTED. If only she could see those things instead of being blinded by the slut label.
NOTE: This book contains a rape scene which may be disturbing to some readers.

My Thoughts It took me up until about 25% or somewhere around there for me to really get in to this book, the story kind of dragged along. BUT when it picked up I found myself suddenly glued to my kindle. This was a difficult read it had some very heavy subject matters. Abuse, drug use and rape.
I LOVE Jake and his character in the last 15% OH. MY. GOODNESS. He was FIERCE, the last page...I loved every word written.

I was recently recommended Welcome to Sugartown and decided to bump it up to next in my 'want to read' pile and I am so happy I did. For it would have been such a pity to not have met Elijah and Ana.

In Welcome to Sugartown we meet Ana, a nineteen year old virgin working in her family diner and filling in her late mothers shoes as the pie maker. Ana along with her best friend Holly who works alongside her at the diner, would love nothing more than to get the heck out of the small town but have yet to make that move. For one thing Ana and her little brother are extremely close as she spends most days with Sammy.(whom readers will fall immediately in love with) In fact it’s while she is with Sammy and Holly that she spots Elijah when he arrives in Sugartown.
‘The sound of a bike tearing up the street draws the attention of all three of us.’ -Ana
When 23yr old Elijah Cade rides in to the small town as a new hire across the street from the diner; both Ana and Holly are caught gawking at him in all his 6’3 Aussie tatted male glory.

It’s not long before Ana and Elijah become a couple which is not easy..at first..because Ana’s father is set against it. Ana’s been hurt before and her father will not let it happen again. In addition to that he also knows Elijah’s secrets; secrets that can eventually come and bite him in the arse if he is not careful.
Refusing to let her father rule her love life Ana pursues Elijah and he enjoys every second of it. He tries to put his insecurities aside because the more he gets to know Ana the more beautiful she becomes to him both inside and out. It's a beauty he does not want to tarnish. Her innocence is not to be taken lightly so he is careful with how far he allows them to go. And HOLY HOTNESS does it make for some steamy scenes.

Overall I enjoyed Welcome to Sugartown! It was a quick read with a cast of very colorful characters from Ana’s very over protective father, her step-dragon-mother, to the adorable Sammy and of course the hilarious tell you like she means it best friend Holly.
What you should know Welcome to Sugartown is not exactly a sweet and easy read it has some hard scenes that contain violence and one that causes me to put a warning in my review. WARNING:(view spoiler)[This book does contain a rape scene. (hide spoiler)]

‘Some things in life are so sad that there are no words to describe the amount of sadness, grief, and sorrow a person is feeling. I assume this is why God allowed humans the simple act of crying. When a person cries, they feel the sadness slowly ease out of them. They feel as though they are justifiably respecting a person that has died through showing their grief. First of all this book DESTROYED ME and words…words FAILED ME by the end. I don’t think I have ever been so flustered when writing a review as I am with this one there was things I liked and some things I did not like.(I’ll expand on that later) One thing’s for sure, I was warned by the author as are you. ***Author Note: This is not a love story. This is a story of love gone wrong.***

Alexa Ballentine is an American working in Australia as a case/social worker. She considers her kids her cubs, she deeply cares for their well being and it shows in her actions. In fact I don’t think there is one bad bone in Alexa’s body. Coming from two parents who were not parents at all she personally knows from experience how bad it can be out on the streets.
Alexa is also aware of him; watching her. He’s been doing it for some time now and she can feel his eyes on her whenever he is near.
He is the eyes under the hoodie.

This is where things get complicated. Something bad happens and it brings hoodie stalker guy up close and personal with Alexa.
‘That’s when he does something I’ve been wishing for forever. He lowers the hood.’
And dude is FRIGHTENING. Scares her, scares me, it gets real. You have no idea what will happen.
‘Opening my eyes to find his still on my face, I ask a hushed, “What’s your name?” The corner of his lip tips up. “Doesn’t matter. You’ll forget it once I’m gone.” Taking a small step towards him, I promise, “No, I won’t.” It’s his turn to take a step back. He watches me some more. Those eyes. It feels as if they see everything. Breathing in, he replies on an exhale, “I’m Twitch.”
We meet the guy in the hood. His name is Twitch and he has an itch so to speak for Alexa.
She wants him.
There’s something animalistic about this man. Something I want to be a part of. Something I want to be included in. He’s a force of nature.’ -Alexa

The attraction is very clear and she lets him know. Twitch is very up front with Alexa when he tells her what he is about and uhhh how he likes it. DIRTY.
As readers take in both pov’s we learn that Twitch has an agenda. He wants to break Alexa, but why?
‘There’s something about having your choices taken from you that is equally liberating and frightening. Handing over control to a person is a big deal. A showing of trust. And sometimes, I would like to be taken on a ride rather than drive.’ -Alexa
My Sweet and Sour
My Sweet - I enjoyed how Belle Aurora gave us snippets of personality with the internal monologues. I found it witty and entertaining.
My Sour - Well my first choice is too spoilerish so here is my second choice, mean Twitch… I did not like mean Twitch at all.
This is the first time secondary characters made the book for me and the main characters just seemed to give me a splitting headache. I was so unsure on how to rate RAW. Why? Well for one, I struggled with the hero, Twitch and his motives towards Alexa. More so the reasoning behind it. Second, Alexa and her internal battle with allowing Twitch to Dominate her.. It seemed like she fought it throughout the entire book and I just did not get that about her.
Either your down or not. Her actions spoke volumes though..She was DEFINITELY down. So why internally fight it, just accept it. Maybe that is easier said then done, don't know.
My Thoughts Basically I was unhappy with the reasoning Twitch used for going after Alexa. Yes, I understand his anger but I feel as if he chose Alexa without just cause. His anger was completely misdirected. So maybe it was just me. I don’t know, it just felt wrong… Some may argue that that is the point, it was misdirected, that’s the tragedy of it all. And I guess *shrugs a shoulder* I can see how people feel that way.
I sort of thought there was a few plot holes. (view spoiler)[ - How was Twitch able to just set up shop like that in a whole new country with a cover company and so on and so forth? Drug empire’s are not built over night.
- Why did Twitch wait so long to enter Alexa’s life. He said it took a year to find her, ok so how soon was he in Australia after that?
- If he was watching her for so long how did he fail pick up on the fact that she is such a sweet, good hearted person. Was he blinded by his rage? Possible. Why not explore that a bit more? Or is all this a result of his brain injury?
-Why did she not further question Ling living with him? That irked me the way she dropped it.
-His stealth missions in and out of her house? How? Guess that falls in to his mysterious ways category huh? (hide spoiler)]
My Rating and Why 4 STARS- I wanted more. I felt these things could have been explored upon maybe cut out a few sex scenes. OH MY, I can’t believe I just said that… I NEVER opt to cut out sex. However, it would have upped my rating if I had these answers of this I am sure.

My Thoughts I enjoyed this quick read. J.M. Stone sure does know how to bring it with the steamy scenes. The chemistry between these three was done well. I think the story had a few predictable turns and a continued plot line seemed to have dropped or maybe the other twist just took precedence. Either way I felt a continued plot from book 1 came up short, it was mentioned then dropped. That plus the predictable twist effected my rating thus 3.5 stars.
What I really can't wait for is Chloe's book. I loved her character she was shy and reserved and after the way she showed up I am anxious for her story. And with the way Stone writes I know it's going to be one steamy read!
Overall I like this authors writing style she give a great cast of secondary characters that will have laughing out loud and/or scrunching your face up in disgust. Either way good times are had all around. I will definitely continue with the series!

Freeing Asia gets a 5 STAR rating for a combination of reasons. The main one being the message it sends which is something everyone must learn. You have to know who you are and love yourself before you can fully commit and love another person. I am positive readers will connect to Asia on some level as she finds, accepts and learns to love herself. My thoughts Barbie did a good job in her debut novel she brought the steam, the laughs, the romance, the drama and the heartache. She also has a little bit of a love triangle going but really once Tyler is on the scene he eradicates any other male suitors. This book is a solid 3.5 for me I enjoyed her writing and more importantly I enjoyed her characters. I am very interested to know if Julia will be getting her own book possibly with Alex??? *fingers crossed* Julia’s character really stuck out to me and I think at times she overshadowed the heroine Sabrina. Were as Sabrina is laid back, Julia is more in your face and I very much liked that about her. I look forward to future books from this author!

My Thoughts GIVE ME MORE! I want more, or have I not made that clear. I think this is one of those books where it’s either a hit or miss. For me it hit the spot! If you like a good smut read with a sweet romance chuck full of good laughs then I totally recommend this book! Honestly I was scared, I did not think I would like this book with all the mixed reviews but I did. I think the mixed reviews for Skin Deep are mainly because of it's writing style...Remember, I said I think. But whatever to each his/her own, I for one enjoyed it! And yes, I admit there was one part that came out of left field, well to me anyway. But overall the story kept my attention and I was won over by - Great main characters - Great secondary characters (Family, Friends and Doug) – HOT MALES - Fun laugh out loud moments - and steamy scenes - REALLY STEAMY *wiggles eyebrows*

My Thoughts SECRETS. Secret identities, secret lives, secret ledgers. So many DAMN SECRETS. So many twist and turns. And I LOVED IT!!! S.W. Frank keeps me on my toes just when I think I got it all figured out Frank shuts it down and has my mind spinning. This book is sexy, suspenseful and layered! I highly recommend it! Must mention: The grammatical errors which will bother most, however I guess I am use to them because I read a lot of ARC’s.

Beautiful Broken Rules is a fun sexy New Adult read with a nice spin on role reversal. Emerson Moore is the school slut (her words not mines) She does not do boyfriends and she has pretty much sworn off love. Sound familiar? Because I swear the guys I read about in books all seem to live by the words
“I don’t do love”
“I will never fall in love”
“Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for FREE”
Oh and let’s not forget this one
“I never hit the same honey pot twice”
The male characters I love live by these words as if each phrase is the male national anthem or some shit. WHAT. EVER. My girl Emerson has her own rules to live by to make life easier…

That’s right, she likes to play boys but you can only have her for a limited amount of time. 3 rounds and your OUT, this way nobody's feelings get hurt once playtime ends.
And everything is going well until she meets Jaxon. A guy rumored to be the male version of her. Jaxon oozes sex appeal without even opening his mouth. That cocky grin alone will have your panties in a twist. Jaxon just moved to Cali from Texas and is attending the same school as Emerson on a football scholarship. He’ll also be her new neighbor! Can you say HELL YES!

Emerson and Jaxon dance a nice slow tango with flirty twist, cocky turns and witty banter filled dips, where each of them takes the turn at lead. Jax knows her rules and he is willing to dance along. That is until he realizes he wants more. Unfortunately Emerson fights being more than friends tooth and nail. Her past showed her that love is nothing but pain, secrets and heartache.
She has been able to do her thing so why risk the chance of hurting someone, or being the one who ends up hurt. Logical thinking right? To bad the heart wants what the heart wants.
When her best friend Quinn notices a change in Emerson because of Jax; she tells her to give a relationship a chance.

Em nixes that idea with the quickness.

All steam aside I really enjoyed this New Adult read, essentially all Kimberly Lauren did was take the man whore concept we all love and flip it. And guess what? IT WORKS! She gives us great secondary characters that pull you in even more, a sweet secondary love story and the promise for a book 2 most likely featuring Jace, which I will happily read!
My thoughts Overall this was a fun read and I look forward to more work by Kimberly Lauren! I recommend this to all of my friends who enjoy a good NA read!

And the price the child must pay once she reaches legal age. Prostitution. Birthed with the innocence of a babe yet bred to leave her virtue behind for a life her mother knows well.
Raven 20 years later Raven has been estranged from her mother for over 2 years and from her father her whole life. She works as a mechanic and resides above the shop. Guy was her high school shop teacher he taught her about cars and saw she had talent. He is now her boss and is the only other person she is close to besides her best friend Eve.

As you can imagine Jonah is taken aback not only because Ray turns out to not be male but a female. But A BEAUTIFUL female. It's her beauty, a beauty that drys out his mouth... Raising up a thirst for her in a way he realizes can only be quenched by tasting what she has to offer.
Friendship takes root fast between these two as does a relationship. Making the decision to leave the bachelor style life behind was not a hard choice for Jonah. His feelings for Raven mad that one of the easiest choices he ever had to make.

Things get serious and Raven knows she must tell him the truth about who she is. Scared...she is scared he'll want nothing to do with her once he knows her parentage. What she does not know is that he has already made up his mine about her.

My Thoughts Did I enjoy this book? HELL TO THE YES!! I loved it actually. So why 3 stars? I really really really wanted to give this book that 4th star but I couldn't. And here is why. The whole insta-love storyline. Ummm yeah, I just can't work with that. It's cool for people who like that, I just ain't one of them. Then he barely knew her but let her move in pretty quickly. I wasn't buying that one either.
So, besides those two things this book ROCKED for me. It was filled with some very sexy-give-it-to-me-baby scenes and I'm not referring to just Jonah. Raven's sex appeal burnt up the pages just as much as Jonah's. Yup I was turned on by a chick. What the hell is going on? Has this happened to anyone else while reading? Maybe not this book but another? I need to know I'm not alone.

Nate Williams life was spinning out of control when a nearly fatal car crash leaves him in rehab to regain the use of his legs.
Claire is a physiotherapist she just picked up her last case before graduating. She is determined to get her new client walking in the next five weeks until she meets him and all thoughts vanish. She immediately recognizes him and is thrown through a loop. Her new client is a guy she once shared a kiss with not to long ago. Nate is oblivious to the connection Claire makes, he's to busy checking her out. And he definitely likes what he sees. Claire decides to keep the memory to her self since he seems to not remember.
Nate's charm has never failed him...until today.
Claire is not falling for his flirtatious ways or the the sexy tattoo's that run up and down his sexy forearms and biceps...OR..is she.
Well if she is, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY she can take it far with Nate because she has a boyfriend. Dave.
Nate and Claire bond over the next few weeks. When she turns down his advances they settle into a comfortable friendship. She learns that they share a few things in common. Both of them are very adventurous. Nate loves to travel and traveling is something she wants to do in the near future. She also learns that he loves to surf and he offers to teach her; she picks up surfing quick.
The attraction between them builds but Nate promised to keep it platonic so he doesn't make a move. Yet his feelings still surface and bubble up in to their friendship.
“Admit it. You think I’m not good enough.” Claire felt her breathing hitch. “Where did this come from? Nate, I have a boyfriend.” He let go of one of her wrists and held his hand up to her face. He stroked her cheek slowly, delicately. “Then explain to me what this is. This thing between you and me.” Please don’t go there, Claire thought. “There’s nothing going on between us,” she whispered. Breathe, Claire. Breathe! “You sure about that?” his voice was raspy and filled with need. “You want me.” “I don’t want you,” she said, not quite as firmly as she would have hoped.
Claire begins to question her relationship with Dave and her life as a whole.
Claire didn’t know what to think, what emotions to feel. Anxious? Nervous? Angry? Nate had managed to push all her buttons and make her question her life. She’d never met anyone like him before. He infuriated her, yet excited her. She found a level of comfort with him that she’d yet to find with anyone else, including Dave.

When Nate gets stuck in a dark place Claire is there to pull him out in to the light. However Claire has not been completely honest with Nate. Things go south between the two when he realizes Claire has withheld information from him. Information about how they first met prior to his accident.
My Thoughts In three words I found this book to be FUN SEXY and IRRESISTIBLE! I loved the two main characters. Mainly I found Nate to be irresistible he was cocky and everything that came out of his mouth was pure entertainment. While sex did not play a big role in this book it still had sexy moments.
Dear readers, If you are looking for a witty yet sexy read then this book is for you! The book does have a minor love triangle however no cheating occurs.

Rachel and her best friend Candice always do everything together so of course they choose to attend the same college. Traveling all the way from sunny California to the deep dirty south of Texas. Both girls are currently finishing up their junior year when something unthinkable happens.
Logan Kash Ryan is a Florida cop, he’s been working under in narcotics with his partner Mason for five years under deep cover. When a recent case goes awry they both find themselves being shipped off to Texas to investigate a serial killer. It’s in Texas where Kash working undercover meets his beautiful new neighbor Rachel Masters. A woman he knows he needs to stay away from to maintain the focus he needs to catch a killer...yet he just can’t seem to stay away.
Rachel and Kash are truly adorable together. What starts off as a platonic friendship slowly blossoms in to more. And yes, there was definitely a spark between these two in the beginning only neither was looking for a relationship. Kash is career driven and Rachel is dealing with some things that will impact any relationship she decides to have in the future.
Kash and Rachel finally make it official as a killer gets bolder and starts to close in on his next target.
My final thoughts Forgiving Lies by Molly McAdams has a lot of appeal however for me it hit right below the mark. I thought it was good so don’t get me wrong the story managed to hold my attention. The characters are easy to fall for. There were a few sugary sweet moments that I found a bit cheesy but cheesy in a good way.
I thought one of the best things about the book is that the two main characters are friends before they take it o the next level. No insta-love here so that was a plus. I was NOT a fan of the best friend Candice she only did one thing good in my humble opinion and it would be a spoiler if I tell so I won’t… Seriously I thought she was a bit*h.
My Rating and Why Forgiving Lies gets a 3.5 STAR rating from me because it failed to give me that one two punch. This may be a case of the 'it’s me not you' because it definitely hit the spot for many of my Goodread friends soooo…yeah I think it’s more so me on this one. But hey you can’t win them all. The book is good and as of now I am a bit unsure if I wish to continue the series. Only time will tell ;)

Thoughts I loved this book and I totally recommend it. This book puts mean girls in the grave. It will make you mad, real mad but trust me it's worth it. One thing that I really enjoyed was the writing style. Meredith Walters will suck you and never let go. As a matter of fact she still has me, I am a fan for life!LOL!!! The writing is fast paced and solid with plenty of witty banter and steam that will leave you sweaty. The lead characters tug at your heart strings. As they try to do the right thing and fail miserably. And then even as they attempt a relationship you'll want to fight for it yourself. That is how passionate they are. That is how passionate Walters wrote these characters.
Dear readers, I recommend this book to anyone who loves an alpha male with an overprotective streak, steamy panty melting love scenes, intense angst and drama that will last for days and days.
