DAMN THAT ENDING TO ALLLLLL HELL. WHY? WHY? WHYYYYYYY?
‘Some things in life are so sad that there are no words to describe the amount of sadness, grief, and sorrow a person is feeling. I assume this is why God allowed humans the simple act of crying. When a person cries, they feel the sadness slowly ease out of them. They feel as though they are justifiably respecting a person that has died through showing their grief. They allow a moment of sorrow to overcome them and cry out a small portion of their unseen pain.’ -Alexa
First of all this book DESTROYED ME and words…words FAILED ME by the end. I don’t think I have ever been so flustered when writing a review as I am with this one there was things I liked and some things I did not like.(I’ll expand on that later) One thing’s for sure, I was warned by the author as are you. ***Author Note: This is not a love story. This is a story of love gone wrong.***
Definitely safe to say I got what I asked for.

Alexa Ballentine is an American working in Australia as a case/social worker. She considers her kids her cubs, she deeply cares for their well being and it shows in her actions. In fact I don’t think there is one bad bone in Alexa’s body. Coming from two parents who were not parents at all she personally knows from experience how bad it can be out on the streets.
Alexa is also aware of him; watching her. He’s been doing it for some time now and she can feel his eyes on her whenever he is near.
He is the eyes under the hoodie.

This is where things get complicated. Something bad happens and it brings hoodie stalker guy up close and personal with Alexa.
‘That’s when he does something I’ve been wishing for forever. He lowers the hood.’
And dude is FRIGHTENING. Scares her, scares me, it gets real. You have no idea what will happen.
‘Opening my eyes to find his still on my face, I ask a hushed, “What’s your name?” The corner of his lip tips up. “Doesn’t matter. You’ll forget it once I’m gone.” Taking a small step towards him, I promise, “No, I won’t.” It’s his turn to take a step back. He watches me some more. Those eyes. It feels as if they see everything. Breathing in, he replies on an exhale, “I’m Twitch.”
We meet the guy in the hood. His name is Twitch and he has an itch so to speak for Alexa.
She wants him.
There’s something animalistic about this man. Something I want to be a part of. Something I want to be included in. He’s a force of nature.’ -Alexa

The attraction is very clear and she lets him know. Twitch is very up front with Alexa when he tells her what he is about and uhhh how he likes it. DIRTY.
As readers take in both pov’s we learn that Twitch has an agenda. He wants to break Alexa, but why?

My Sweet and Sour
My Sweet - I enjoyed how Belle Aurora gave us snippets of personality with the internal monologues. I found it witty and entertaining.
My Sour - Well my first choice is too spoilerish so here is my second choice, mean Twitch… I did not like mean Twitch at all.
This is the first time secondary characters made the book for me and the main characters just seemed to give me a splitting headache. I was so unsure on how to rate RAW. Why? Well for one, I struggled with the hero, Twitch and his motives towards Alexa. More so the reasoning behind it. Second, Alexa and her internal battle with allowing Twitch to Dominate her.. It seemed like she fought it throughout the entire book and I just did not get that about her.
Either your down or not. Her actions spoke volumes though..She was DEFINITELY down. So why internally fight it, just accept it. Maybe that is easier said then done, don't know.
My Thoughts Basically I was unhappy with the reasoning Twitch used for going after Alexa. Yes, I understand his anger but I feel as if he chose Alexa without just cause. His anger was completely misdirected. So maybe it was just me. I don’t know, it just felt wrong… Some may argue that that is the point, it was misdirected, that’s the tragedy of it all. And I guess *shrugs a shoulder* I can see how people feel that way.
I sort of thought there was a few plot holes. (view spoiler)[ - How was Twitch able to just set up shop like that in a whole new country with a cover company and so on and so forth? Drug empire’s are not built over night.
- Why did Twitch wait so long to enter Alexa’s life. He said it took a year to find her, ok so how soon was he in Australia after that?
- If he was watching her for so long how did he fail pick up on the fact that she is such a sweet, good hearted person. Was he blinded by his rage? Possible. Why not explore that a bit more? Or is all this a result of his brain injury?
-Why did she not further question Ling living with him? That irked me the way she dropped it.
-His stealth missions in and out of her house? How? Guess that falls in to his mysterious ways category huh? (hide spoiler)]
My Rating and Why 4 STARS- I wanted more. I felt these things could have been explored upon maybe cut out a few sex scenes. OH MY, I can’t believe I just said that… I NEVER opt to cut out sex. However, it would have upped my rating if I had these answers of this I am sure.
My Ratings Characters- Likeable Writing Style- Good Plot/Storyline- Guy wants to break girl, girl wants to be controlled. Can these two find love? Real love? Jonathan is an American, he has a charming southern accent and is drop dead gorgeous. Once back state side he does not hesitate to invite Shay out. She says yes! Shay soon realizes that Jonathan is not only in to BDSM but is a Dom too, just like Lucas.
While Jonathan may be fun and sexually spontaneous. Lucas is seductive and has already managed to ensnare Shay's heart.
They both want her. But only one can have her...
All this sexual fun is about to come to a head as jealousy and rivalry carry deadly effects.
My Thoughts I enjoyed this read. I do think this is more so for smut lovers. The tone was more on the fantasy side, it had some unrealistic aspects. For instance I do not recall any mention of condoms or protection what so ever. To me that is more fantasy erotic style story telling. You know what I'm referring to right? When the characters have wild sex but never worry about the consequences. Yeah, that. Don't get it twisted, it's nothing wrong with this style of writing. I just felt it necessary to mention in the review. The story also took a very unexpected turn plot wise. It had a little suspense thrown in which was fun.

Dark, very Dark are the Confessions. The last time I read about characters this Fucked up her name was Nora and his name was Soren. But then this is a whole new level of Fucked up so I cannot compare the two. DO NOT THINK this is like The Siren, I only refer to those two characters due to their strong masochistic and sadistic preferences only. The plot in this book is nothing like The Siren. The characters in this book left me in a stunned head space at how sadistic and masochistic someone can actually be.

She receives her work orders and heads off to meet her client at the destination given. After entering the luxury hotel the maitre'd, Peter, escorts her to the dining area where the meeting will take place. Along the way Peter mentions her client by name.
"I haven't seen Mr. Carrington in a great many years.."
It causes her steps to falter because she has not seen Caden in five years. She was aware that he recently returned to London from Hong Kong but is shocked he would require an escort service. Rhys harbors secrets and desires that are slowly revealed to Desniah. He fears she will hate him and find him disgusting for his dark desires.

Thoughts Wow! I loved this book. When I first started I remember thinking "what the fuck did I get myself in to?" LOL! And I find when I ask myself that it's often turns out to be a good thing. That statement causes me to hold on tight to my knickers because the ride on the rode that I travel will be treacherous. This book had me on the edge of my seat unsure where and how it will end. And then BAM. I was left hanging.LOL! Now awaiting the next Volume of books.
The Alter Ego SUPERB! GENIUS! And I love this aspect. In three scenes the switch happened right before the readers eyes. Two of those times it was around Rhys and he went right with the flow. He can tell the two apart just by the posture of either Desniah or London. It was amazing to read it was literally like a movie playing in my head. I love Rhys attitude towards London he knows she can't be trusted. I would have to agree with him by what I read. London is a loose cannon. And you cannot trust a loose cannon. PERIOD.
I think the author has a very unique tale by way of confessions. I enjoyed the cast of characters each unique. Rhys- I especially like Rhys his character is pitch black. He is in a constant battle to fight the darkness that consumes him. He is a true sadist and it's very scary. I'm not sure if Desniah is truly aware of what she is in for. London- Is Desniah's alter ego. London is a true masochist. The way she was born into exsistence is beyond horrible. She feeds off pain and desires it unlike no other I have ever seen. She claims to be protecting Desniah... But I'm not sure how true that is. London is a loose cannon and she seeks to feed her masochistic desires no matter what. Desniah Hmmm. I definitely think Des has a masochistic side of her, she needs to be controlled that's for sure. I think that is part of the reason London is around. Caden- The little I know about him says that he is indeed in love with Desniah. But in all honesty I doubt he can keep her content. He hates what she does and hates that she craves the things that are done to her as London. I really want to know how he knew about London and to contact 'The Agency.' I really need the next Volume. Like NOW!
Dear Readers Bring on the Hedonism! I recommend this book to those who can handle dark edgy reads, this book is not for the faint of heart. It deals with rape, cutting and hardcore BDSM theme's. It is strong on the S&M but does not have a rape scene, it does however deal with it's after effects. If you can handle that READ THIS BOOK it is sooooo G O O D!!! I highly recommend!

Once James finds out that the relationship between Bianca and Stephan her fellow flight attendant is strictly platonic...he goes in for the kill. She tells James that she does not date, which is fine with him cause neither does he. James makes his intentions clear. He wants her, in his bed and at his mercy. Bianca turns him down of course. And in true alpha male fashion James insinuates himself in to her life whether she wants him there or not.
The chemistry between these two was HOT AS HELL. The things they did on the plane was... Squirm inducing!

James Cavendish in one word Delectable It took me a while to get into this read because the real world kept interrupting my Cavendish. LOL!! Get it my Cavendish?! Ok, no... Not funny? Cool, moving on.
I loved James he came across as a strong Dom yet would easily get thrown off balance by Bianca's nonchalant attitude. Which in my humble opinion just sucked him in more. In fact at times it was like he would walk on his tip toes afraid he would say something that would cause her to bolt. “You’re tying me in knots, yet you remain unaffected yourself. Are you just waiting for a reason to end this? That’s the impression I’m getting at the moment. And that drives me fucking crazy, since I don’t have a clue what will tip the scales against me.” ~James
This nonchalant attitude she gives frustrates him to no end because he desires to know her more yet she keeps him at arms length. But she does so with good reason. She believes that this is only an affair and will last weeks at the most. Her thoughts are clear, why complicate things by getting personal, lets keep it sexual. After a while she caves and only agrees to give up personal information unless he does too! I give, you give becomes a routine that later leads them to both reveal painful secrets from their past. So painful that it brought tears to my eyes.
PAUSE: The more I review this the more I realize how much I enjoyed it I will be changing this to a full 4 star rating now.

These two definitely compliment each other on the 'I am fucked up meter' and at one point she voices how people like her need people like him. In other words hello masochist I would like you to meet my friend sadist.

The story takes a turn around the 82% mark. I continuously yelled OH HELL NO. James does something that royally pissed me off. Even after hearing why he did it I am still pissed.
Thoughts Overall I enjoyed it! I am huge Christian Grey and Gideon Cross fan. I felt this book stuck close to the "formula" some readers have grown to love me included.
The formula: -H/h both have traumatizing past that has left them with particular needs. - The man is an all out alpha male - The man is a billionaire - The man has stalker tendencies - The females have a great best friend that will defend them - The females have no idea what they're getting in to with the male - The females have emotional sobbing meltdowns - Paparazzi play a small role - The past creeps up to bite them in the ass Am I missing something?? Feel free to tell me I will gladly add it.
