Yeap, this Lurry, too.
[image] This book is my second favorite of the series (after Deathly hallows) because everything that is supposed to give Harry happiness and love is taken away from him by either that stupid toad or the Ministry or Voldemort. It's the darkest of the series, but still J. K Rowling wove her story so well that you laugh and cry and get angry and you yell at your book and to love and hate the characters.
Unpopular opinion: I hate Hagrid. He's so stupid and he causes problems to everyone and never listens and has no proper magic. His only quality is that he's loyal. Okay I don't exactly hate him but I wish in book 7 it had been him and not Fred if you know what I mean....more

4.5 stars rounded because FINALLY! A young adult is REALLY a young adult book, and not a NEW ADULT book pretending to lure underage teens to its dirty sex scenes (cough ACOMAF cough)
This book is REAL, age appropiate young adult.
Seriously. I can't be the only one noticing that lately you find almost the same amount of nudity, drama, sex, and heavy topics such as drugs, rape, cheating, bullying, violence, and "inappropiate" behaviour in "YA romance" books than you'd find in edgy New adult, adult fiction, even erotica. (cough Paper Princess, cough)
Well ladies and gentleman THE WAY TO GAME THE WALK OF SHAME (promising yet tonguetwister-ish title) is a book that isn't trying to pretend to be what isn't. You know from reading the blurb that you'll encounter the typical high school drama, the bad boy, the nerdy girl, the fake relationship, the mean characters and for once CUTE YOUNG ADULT ROMANCE LIGHT ON DRAMA AND A FULL OF CUTE, AGE APPROPIATE FUN. Anyone looking for heavy drama, originality or edginess won't find it here. This is a book that might appeal to readers in search of a romance with no complications, no cheating, plenty of fun banter, cuteness and in short, ENTERTAINMENT.
As I said, this book isn't prentending and isn't pretentious. It's not trying to be original, what book is? and it's not trying to be intelectual. The premise is very basic and very compelling. Taylor, a nerdy girl, is bullied at her school for being, well, nerdy! Oh! so you're a nerd? virgin? bookworm? Let's make fun of you.
Then our nerdy heroine finds herself in the bed of the school playboy. Isn't that cool? And neither remember a lot of that "wild" night.
It turns our that our virginal nerd girl finds herself again the victim of bullying. This time one of the worst forms of bullying: slutshaming. OH how dare you sleep with a manwhore? Someone you aren't dating? He can sleep with a lot of girls and that's fine, but YOU are a woman and you shouldn' t ake control of your sexual life, you shouldn't make bad decisions, you should stay in your nerdy role and never stray from it. To get rid of the slutshaming she asks Evan (book boyfriend, I want him to be real) to date her in real life and he not only accepts! he even drafts a contract! Who the hell has a contract for a relationship?
Perhaps ....
or
[image]
This fake relationship is supposed to save heroine's reputation. Because slutshaming works with double standards and women can never win. If you are a virgin you're a prude, a judgmental bitch, an undersirable nerd. If you sleep with someone after a moment of poor judgement you are a slut. All this sounds very heavy right? It's what's happening, in this school and all around us, but that's not what the book is about. The author could have made this book an anti-slutshaming and pro-feminist book, but instead she focused in the story, in the fun, in the banter, in the entertaining factor. This book is not preachy at all, it's not dramatic. It's just fun for the sake of fun!
The book being a Young adult book, doens't have a lot of steaminess, but it compensates that with cuteness and smiles. YOu have to suspend disbelief a little because the attitude of the teachers in this book is almost supporting of bullying in a student, but other than that I think this book is a great read. It might be silly at times, this is a book that you shouldn't think too much or you might start to find things that will ruin your reading experiences. This is a mindless reading but that's what makes it a great summer read.
I want to read more of the author.
Safety issues:H unfortunately kind of has eyes for other girls after starting to date the heroine, but everything was so cute that didn't bother me....more

UNSAFE READ ALERT! OTHER WOMAN DRAMA UNSAFE READ ALERT! OTHER WOMAN DRAMA
Dropping two stars and maybe dropping the series for good.
Spoiler for this book and the sequels (view spoiler)[ Jack, the hero, works as a escort and at first I was okay with that because, he says that sex is rarely part of his job, he says that women usually hire him for non-sex stuff, like for making exes jealous or him going with them to proms and events. Stupid me! I believed him! I'm trying to read book 2 and after Jack and Isis kiss he not only keeps his job but his relationship with an ex-flame is stronger than I thought. If you don't like love triangles F/M/F avoid this series. That's a shame because Isis is one of my favorite heroines, she has serious self-esteem issues and she hides behind her humorous facade to try to survive. A heroine like her deserved better! Please don't tell me that's not cheating because he's not officialy dating Isis! It's 100% disloyal and stupid! I hate it.
Also he kind of dates platonically (at Isis insistance) one of heroine's best friends. It's a very platonic relationship that seems to be only to make Isis happy, but now that I know he's so close to Sophia I see his dating Kayla as weak, disloyal and traitorous. (hide spoiler)]
I'm taking back everything nice I said about Jack Hunter. I'm so glad I didn't pay for book two!
Original review. I feel tempted to erase it, but my friends liked it already so I won't eraset I'll just hide under spoilers.
4 I-couldn't-stop-reading-I-couldn't-stop laughing stars Thank you so much The dreamer for the book recommendation. I loved it. I thought that Cassandra Clare, J.K Rowling, and Jennifer L. Armentrout were the authors to go when you want to read cute bantering and female characters with the wittiest comebacks. I was wrong. Not even Isabelle Lightwood can contest Isis Blake's sass. The first 50% of the book was text-book of how to write a heroine with the smartest comebacks and the sassiest dialogue. Even her internal monologues were so entertaining. And she spoke some of her internal monologue aloud! Even better: she never became embarrassed about it! She's crazy like that.
Practically every page of the first half of the book is full of funny dialogue. I don't recommend reading this in public. It's very difficult to keep a straight face while reading this book.
That's not to say that I didn't find problems with this book. I'll address those later, but the fact that the protagonist Isis Blake is a Gem difficult to find in contemporary "romance" (notice the quotations in romance, I'll address that later) makes me want to give not 5 but 6 stars.
Isis Blake is a force of nature. One of the most complex heroines I've read in recent years. She's completly and unapologetically crazy, she can be as immature and childish as a 5-year-old one minute, and a very loyal friend the next. She can plant weed on a locker to get revenge of her enemies and then go home to cook dinner and take care of her depressed mother. She could be the girl you'd like to be your friend or the crazy freak you'd want to keep at an arm's length because she's just so unpredictable and so unapologetic. I personally wanted to hug her and offer her comfort. From the moment I read the first pages and the way Isis feels about love I knew that she had been hurt, both physically and emotionally and that all that humor, all those contradictory attitudes (one minute she calls herself ugly and feels insecure, another minute someone tries to bully her and she'll rise to the occasion by jokingly calling herself "hot") seemed to be rooted in her need to fight against the people who hurt her, against her internal demons, against her tragic past. I really got to understand her character and to feel as though she could be any girl I know. She's like a young Lorelai Gilmore (watch the Gilmore girls if you haven't) Lisbet Salender (watch the girl with the dragon tatoo Fincher's version) Buffy the Vampire slayer, and Jenna Hamilton from Awkward. Except Isis is wittier, sassier and way much more broken inside than all the other women I mentioned.
Maybe it's not so much that she's so strong as much of the fact that she's constant and true to herself and never acts OCC. To be honest I've read contemporary heroines that are sassy and strong, too. The problem is that at some point they act stupidly or more like the authors make them act stupidly. Isis can be silly at times, but never stupid. That wasn't a problem with this book, although there were other problems, but none of them were major for me. The hero compensated for that and now I don't even know if I should enter into detail into those problems as they are very personal. I feel most readers wont' have any problems reading this book unless they hate dark topics. Even if you don't relate or like the heroine at the very least I'm sure you'll finish the book quickly and be thoroughly entertained and laughing and enjoying the crazy situations. This is a good mix of comedy and dark topics.
I love Jack Hunter. He reminds me so much of another favorite of mine Aleksey from The V Girl UPDATE, I TAKE THAT BACK! JACK ISN'T LOYAL and he has eyes for other women !!!hate him!! I'm recommending this book to my group of friends who love Aleksey as much as I do. The leonine silent attitude. The fact that Jack's not a manwhore. He's a silent, broody jackass that can also be very caring. He challenges the heroine and protects her at the same time and their first encounter is in a situation in which both are in opposite sides of the war. He can be hurtful one minute and then dress as Jack Sparrow the next because he knows that SHE is crazy for (and as crazy as) Jack Sparrow. I love that so much. My only problem with him is that (view spoiler)[ unlike Aleksey who never loved anyone else, Jack seems too attached to a girl in his past. It's clear that he loves her in a way that isn't clear to me, does he love OW as a sister? or does he have other feelings? Love triangles aren't my thing. If he's really into that girl (I'm crossing finger the sequel won't be about that) I think he might enter the category of disloyal heroes, because he kind of dates one of Isis's friends (not exactly date, more like letting the girl kiss him so the friend would be happy and Isis would lower her guard and smile more) and I don't know if he's being disloyal or not to this other girl. And if he really loved her at one point that will ruin the book for me. I want him to love only Isis. (hide spoiler)]
WARNINGS with potential spoilers: This book follows the tendency of late to include strong language, dark situations (prostitution, PSTD, rape attempt, date rape attempt, suicide, bullying, drugs) in a YA read. There's no nudity or sexual situations (a descriptive make out with clothes on happens) , but just beware that lately YA romance is becoming more and more edgy. Also at the end of the book some situations will require your suspension of disbelief.
I'm recommending this book to fans of the enemies to lovers trope and fans of cute banter and slow burners. Perhaps also the fans of The coincidence of Kayden and Callie will enjoy this book (because there's pain behind the MC's attitudes) and the fans of Paper princess will enjoy the love-hate relationship and the reality-show-soap-opera situations full of drama. (hide spoiler)] Taking back everything I said about the romance in my original review, the 3 stars are all for Isis! That girl deserved more! After all the pain she went through, it's so unfair.
I'm upset! This is the last time I read unfinished contempoary series. I swear! (view spoiler)[Cheating (hide spoiler)] in the sequels is the worst!

It all depends how you want to see it. And I for one, want to be happy about this.
More of Scorpious and Draco Malfoy please! Scorpious my baby! YOu made this book so fun to read!
Yep, Harry Potter is alive and so is the legacy of his former enemies and a new whole set of stories could come from this.
WARNING: If you're a rabid potterhead who complained about everything the movies changed, you will complain also about the liberties the play took on Harry Potter's personality. In my opinion the new writers didn't get what is the real sense of Harry Potter's personality. In fact I didn't see much of Rowling's voice or style in the play. I think she was barely involved. There were several times when I was HATING the things that Harry said and did and shouting at him. "BE A MAN" and that ALMOST ruined the book for me in a couple of places. But fortunately for me, things worked well eventually and I was just so into the story and the suprises that came with it that I was able to enjoy this book a lot. I was laughing, crying, facepalming myself, raging, even applauding at some points.
PRE-READING THOUGHTS JULY 31 AT EARLY MORNING BRIBANE TIME I'm so nervous for this one.
Wish me luck! It'd be so terrible if this book isN't up the quality of the other! Update: If you're looking for an early non-spoilery review (with warning for spoilers for those who search spoilers) look atMeredith's review I'm dying to see if I agree, with her but at the very least I know already that we got easter's eggs and plenty of fun
Update 2 August 1 early morning on Brisbane
I'll insist on this: you have to approach this book with an open mind, this is a PLAY transcript, not a novel, and it's not entirely J.K's Rowling mastery as other authors are involved. If you think too hard of the why's? and the how's? you'll ruin to yourself what is an incredibly journey back to the story we love so much. A really fun, fast-paced journey. If you start to complain of the format, the worldbuilding (or lack of it) in this play or if you think too hard you won't enjoy the rollercoaster of emotions. And that's what Harry Potter should always stand for: To create emotions on the readers and boy! This was such an emotional journey for me.
I was just so happy to be back to the story. Yes, the format of a play is a little bit off putting at times but I enjoyed so much all the winks (or as my good friend calls them, Easter eggs) thrown there for the fandom. I can't tell you what they are, because that would ruin your fun. You have to read them, but read this play with an open mind and without thinking much or you won't enjoy them.
This PLAY (not, book, not novel, PLAY, sorry for being repetitve but it's necessary) with all the limitations it had really expanded in a lot of things that I had been wondering for a while and I'm sorry that I read this in public because my friend and I were making exclamations all the time.
"yes, yes, that's so cool!" "I knew it," "Oh my god!Pefect choice for Minister of Magic" "Draco! Draco! I knew you had it on you!" "WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT??? Harry wouldn't ever act like that, and MC GONAGALL WOULD RATHER DANCE WEARING ONLY A G STRING THAN AGREE TO THAT." "nOoooo, don't do that, don't do that, aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!" "Yes, draco, yes!" (notice that I love Draco's role in this book)
And around the 80% mark I was like
[image]
And hugging my friend and shouting with her:"MIND BLOWING TWIST!!!!"
I should have seen that coming after the maze thing, but I didn't and I'm so happy I didn't because it blew my mind!
So if I had been dwelling in my dissaproval of the most clumsy parts of the book, the cheesy dialogue and what these authors did to my beloved Harry: (view spoiler)[ They transformed him in one of the worst fictional fathers ever , but I should have known, he was raised by the Dursleys, of course he was going to be a stupid father, but thanks god at the end his common sense makes him see how wrong he was (hide spoiler)] I wouldn't have enjoyed the ride. I want to kidnap JK Rowling and tie her to a chair and force her to write an expansion of this world, because (view spoiler)[ covers 4 years of howgarts school years and I need more of that and more of Lily, James, Rose, Hugo, there was no ted tonks and no george (hide spoiler)]
The format of a play is not the ideal format to read this kind of story because the notes for the actor are not enough to visualize things, they are in italics and at times are rather clumsy
"this is a spartacus moment" <--meaning? (We are readers, not experts on classic Hollywood movies; Theater, Literature and movies are different things. And which one of all spartacus moments you are referring to?Isn't that like an iconic story with plenty of iconic moments?) "Hermione looks stunning as a rebel" <--no description of clothes or facial attitudes as this is a play and the actors are supposed to represent that on stage "Titanic" <-I laughed out loud at that and not the good kind of laugh
I want to re-read already. I might up or down my rating based on that, but I don't regret for a minute having read this play, and now I want to see the play on stage. I'm happy. Harry is back and this will become a movie I'm sure. ...more

Colton's story really made me think how difficult is for people to accept diversity, but above all this is about how Love can find us all.
This is one of the most romantic stories I've read in while. I love how sweet the romance was and how much the characters cared for each other. The story is quite short, I flew through it in a couple of hours.
There was one thing I didn't like. Colton's mom not telling Lilly what was going on and thinking that Lilly would be okay to unexpectadly throw that rock on her. In front a whole crowd. I got so, so angry and I wish Lilly had insulted her.
As a fan of romantic not graphic (view spoiler)[loss of innocense/cherry popping stories I found Puddle Jumping to deliver in that front. (hide spoiler)] That scene was so beautiful and romantic.
The book is short so there's a lot of internal dialogue and a little bit of tell don't show which is something I always appreciate even if some people think it's boring. I love to know what's going on on the heroine's mind. I like that Lilly was so brave and loyal to Colton.
Meet Simon Spiers a hot gay dude whose name means he's all levels of nosy. He gets into trouble when the secret mails he sends to his crush get discovered. Simon feels like if he wants to be in the closet he has to play Marty's game and try to hook him up with Simon's friend Abby. But as the book progresses we'll see that there's more to this than what Simon thought.
I had a smile on my face the entire time I read this. If work and life hadn't been such a complication I would have finished the book in a day.
This is a coming of age book showing us Simon inner mologue, the way he faces his feelings about his friends, his family, society and sex. No one has connected to Simon the way his secret-pal "Blue" has. Simon feels like they're soulmates and their e-mails ex-changes take a huge part of the book. I LOVE THAT. And I thought the e-mails were well-woven into the plot. Who is this mysterious Blue? Is he lying? What's his secret agenda? I kind of guessed where things were going, but still it was a shock when the final revelations blew my mind.
This book contains sexual commentary which makes me think perhaps the characters were originally younger. I felt I was reading a blunter version of Diary of a wimpy kid. It didn't bother me, but if you're looking for mature characters and plot-driven books this book isn't for you. A shame, because I had a great time reading SVTHSA and I want to read more of this author. I enjoyed the Harry Potter references, the family's attitude toward Simon's sexuality (GOD! WHY can't all people be that lucky?) the descriptions of Oliver's rehearsals and the way the author gives us enough to know each character and where they come from. The writing isn't particularly good or evocative. It delivers its purpose and that's it. But some quotes were amazing! I want to quote the hell out of this book. If you're looking for an easy read, no complications, no violence read this. I'll add parental guidance later because you know, YA books aren't necessarily appropiate readings for the youngest readers....more
Update: August 25 This book contains a non-graphic sex scene. Book 2 contains explicit make outs. I think this is the book that started the sex on bookUpdate: August 25 This book contains a non-graphic sex scene. Book 2 contains explicit make outs. I think this is the book that started the sex on books marketed towards teens. From there publishers tried to think how far they could go. I don't mind, I consider this book to be more YA than NA because
♣ the sex scenes are fade to black ♣ they don't come in chapter 2 like it's the case with A court of mist and ruins. ♣ They aren't vulgar ♣ They aren't cringeworthy ♣ The author didn't try to hide her sex content. On the contrary, she posted a lot in her blog about the sex scenes. ♣ The main characters are all 18 or younger. I think Tessa Grey the protagonist is 16. 12-17 is the rage for protagonists to be considered YA. ♣ More importantly: Last time I checked Clockwork Princess was recommended for 14 and up even though the sex is fade to black and the characters are all underage.
They're not marketing it to 11-13 Year old children as far as I know, but if they were, at least the sex is fade to black and not p@rnograhic/erotic
That's a million years of difference to this:
[image] [image] [image]
♠ A court of Mist and Fury the erotic content starts in the amazon sample/goodreads preview (anyone can look at it for free and see I'm not lying),
♠ None of the characters is 18 or younger. Feyre is 20.
If authors want to write sex AND THEN sell their stories to teens the least they could do is own their stories and stand up for them and talk about it. Don't be vulgar and hide the content of the general public. Talking about it at book siginings won't do.
My only problem with Clare discussing her sex scenes is that she called them dirty. She refered to them as DSS (dirty sex scene) There's nothing dirty about sex and I hope we stop that mentality because that's the reason Bloomburry is trying to hide the erotic content of her New adult books. They fear they would sell less, when in fact they would sell more. Many of the bloggers and booktubers that cover up the erotic content of Court of Mist and Fury don't have a sex-positive/ anti censorship attitude. They just don't want to go against the marketing agenda of the big five because they want to receive free books and a crappy publishing deal. They would more money supporting their favourite authors in a decent way, or self publishing but sometimes dishonest people aren't smart. In my opinion everyone who hid on purpose the erotic content of A Court of Mist and Fury is not only dishonest, it's also dumb. They're prostituting themselves at the cheapest price.

PARENTAL GUIDANCE SEX/NUDITY 8 out 10 (view spoiler)[Descriptive make outs. Heroine is sleeping with a villager at the beginning of the book but it's not a graphic scene, some nudity descriptions, a graphic sex scene, including oral, between Tamlin and Feyre . Ritual sex is mentioned as part of a ceremony called Calanmai (hide spoiler)]
VIOLENCE/GORE 7 out of 10 (view spoiler)[ descriptions of torture to heroine, some of it by one of the love interests (Rhysand), a villager is burned alive during days because the villains mistook her for the heroine. The elder sisters of the heroine are emotionally abusive and unhelpful, they reap the benefits of heroine's sacrifices for themselves without lifting a finger. (hide spoiler)]
SUBSTANCE USE 6/10 as every single character in this book is 19 or older or a milleneal ancient fae alcohol consumption is present. Mostly at meals and during a ceremony called Calanmai
SAFETY WARNINGS
(view spoiler)[In this series we have two heroes: Tamlin is the love interest in book 1 and he has sex with another woman after meeting the heroine because it's part of a certain FAE ceremony that keeps fae strong. They aren't together yet so it's not exactly cheating but that's the reason I didn't connect with Tamlin. Well the OW sex and the whole begging- on-his- knees- to- a -rival- for- the -heroine's -safety. That was just stupid. (hide spoiler)]
In book 2 (view spoiler)[the love interest switches, Rhysand who appears as the villain in book 1 becomes love interest and Tamlin becomes a jerk, no one roots for Tamlin after chapter 4 because he acts stupidly. But we get a very graphic sex scene of heroine and Tamlin together at the beginning of A COURT OF MIST AND FURY. As someone who is team rhysand I didn't enjoy that sex scene. I got very happy with the rest of the book because Tamlin dissapears and later there's a lot of sex with Rhysand, but yeah, this is an unsafe read. (hide spoiler)]
So my original rating changes to 3.5 I can't rate lower in spite of the safety issues because book 2 is one of my all time favourites.
Original review This has been an excellent year for me in books. This retelling of Beauty and the beast left me wanting more but it was totaly a worthy reading.
Sara J.Maas gets better with each book she writes I honestly like her style and her vivid imagination.
What I liked the most about this book was the romance. I wasn't expecting it'd be so well developed but I wantmore and even more.
I like this book better than red queen.

Re-read: Amazon sent me a letter to update the book. Love it EVEN more the second time.
First and foremost. I DON'T WANT IT TO END! I WANT MORE PLEASE!!!!!
Thank you Mya Roberts for writing this beautiful, epic LOVE STORY.
Now the theme itself is so HORRIFYING that for a while I debated whether I wanted to read the book or not. Usually rape is not something I want to read. In fact I read the reviews of the V girl first before reading and most of them were accurate, rape is not something that we get to see graphically . I can't stand rape. I just can't. But the INTELLIGENT, MATURE, ALMOST POETIC approach the author used to tackle this difficult topic was brilliant. There's rape, the blurb says as much but it's more than a menace, a threat to the people who live in this world. 90% of the book the story is more about the Heroine's fight, about her feelings, not about rape for the sake of bringing drama. Nothing like game of thrones style.
It's sad to think that The V girl society is very realistic. I think our own society has come to accept rape and abuse as something that can't be avoided. From where we stand as society where rape culture is fed on us daily to the moment a society like this becomes a reality...i'm sad to think about it but it may happen. it seems like whenever there's war there's crime. Looting, Murder, torture, rape, slavery. Honestly just see what Hitler did. I'm sure his high comanders had green card to do whatever they wanted to the people they oppressed. Countless of TV shows, movies and books talk about torture and murder during war. They never talk about rape and that's sadly the reality every women of every country that has been invaded has to live. For them or for someone they know.
There's PLOT
YOU HEAR ME PLOT
and subplots too. There's a good story here that made me cry, laugh, throw my kindle to the garbage (literally) swoon REPEATEDLY.
Swoon? why?
Because ALEKSEY FURST! A SOLDIER WHO DOES WHAT'S RIGHT! what the other soldiers should do. PROTECT PEOPLE and he wasn't expecting to fall in love with Lila but he did. It's a very difficult situation for this couple. On the one hand she FOR OBVIOUS REASONS hates soldiers. On the other hand IT'S PROHIBITED TO HAVE A FOREIGN AND AN AMERICAN getting married and the punishement is torture. (rape? no problem. Love? heaven forbid! how come?)
But aleksey fights his way to get Lila's heart, he changes for her, he risks everything for her, and little by little she'll find that Aleksey is not her enemy. He's there to LOVE HER not to take advantage of the situation.
Would he gain her heart and have the honor to be the one who deflowers the heroine?

There's plenty of sex. yes but it's portrayed in a way that fits the plot perfectly.
And when you reach the 85% mark you'll be ready to cry and soak your kindle. Its that dramatic. And what comes next is horrifying.
But thanks god there's something that Roberts had in store for us that we weren't expecting. (view spoiler)[A HEA (hide spoiler)] just when things looked to be going for the worst, just when I thought happiness wasn't possible, I learned that there's hope and I ended up smiling. It was so beautiful.
Now a warning. The book is BRUTAL, HORRIFYING AND NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. It's super dark and for your sake if you're squimish I suggest you skim or even avoid chapters 53 and 54. I'll repeat AVOID CHAPTERS 53 AND 54 if you're squimish. They're brilliant but not for the faint of heart. Even so I think Roberts did a great job in presenting a scene like that only when was needed. She didn't overuse the horror of the situation to bring more drama. I think it was beautifully handled. I'm a fan and I'm recommending this book to everyone on my list....more
I'm tired of people ripping this book to pieces and secretely devouring it. I don't believe you for a second that you didn't enjoy it if you happened I'm tired of people ripping this book to pieces and secretely devouring it. I don't believe you for a second that you didn't enjoy it if you happened to have ratings and long rants about the following books.
Accept it! Stephanie Meyer kept you reading her very long books! And you are only complaining about stalking tendencies because YOU know this is fiction.
I DON'T WANT A GUY WATCHING ME SLEEP. In real life that's creepy.
BELLA COULD HAVE GOTTEN HERSELF KILLED MULTIPLES TIMES IF IT HADN'T BEEN FOR EDWARD's STALKER tendencies. Again in real life I don't want to date a stalker. In a fictional realm some things are necessary to keep the woman a vampire loves alive and the readers turning the pages.
AND IF STEPHANIE MEYER IS SUCH A BAD WRITER BY ALL MEANS GO AND WRITE A BETTER BOOK. Good luck with that!Let's see how many agents push for your book.
Now don't you like junk food? Do you really only eat select cuisine? Admit it! You put crazy stuff in your McDonalds french fries and then claim is the most delicious thing ever! Not every meal has to be a delicattessen and not every read has to become the next War and peace. You just don't read the book.
I find the people who says I'm stupid because I ADORE TWILIGHT to be snobbish, arrogant and insufferable.
I like twilight and I'm proud I like twilight. Plenty of people wouldn't read or write if it hadn't been for twilight. The publishing industry would have lost money if girls like me hadn't started reading book like twilight. Millions of women around the world got to love twilight and they're not stupid, they just don't share your taste in books.
6 STARS TO A SIMPLE HOUSEWIFE WHO TOOK THE PUBLISHING INDUSTRY BY STORM.
