message 2: by Louise (new)

Louise Bath I'm not particularly interested in American books, but it seems that they're the only ones that matter - especially if your book of the year vote is anything to go by. 🙄

It is super biased. If it's any help, I believe there is an option for writing in your own votes! It must work, the second round usually look super different from the first round.

message 7: by Bev (new)

Bev I have enjoyed all of the Atlee Pine books so far by Baldacci, starting with Mercy. They are suspenseful and have interesting characters. (I just finished The Gambler--it was the first novel of his that I did not enjoy. I didn't like the characters or the setting.)

Sooo disappointing and how did a book make it into the nominees for best fiction when it only has 350 ratings?!

Not sure what their system is for picking books, but something seems fishy. I was very sad to see that they missed The People We Keep.
