Be very careful when insuring with CHUBB. This company forces people to insure things they don't have or need to make the policy much more expensive. The underwriters are very snarky and extremely uncompassionate, and they will lie about the assets to make more money. It's quite despicable.
Scam company. Stay away. Completely unhelpful and a waste of money. Don't expect any refund from them. Customer service is basically useless. You waste your money and time by going with them. Stay far away from them. I bought a flight ticket, and the only way you can contact them is by email. And they take 3 business days for each response. In the end, you won't get anything back.

Don't submit a claim on their website; it will not go through after you spend 30 minutes filling it out. The only way to do it is to call them and ask for a form to be emailed to you, which you then have to email back to them.

Completely unhelpful and a waste of money. We encountered delays on every stretch of our flights for our honeymoon. After negotiating with the airline for five months for confirmation of our delays, Chubb told us the delays were not covered. Honestly, we spent more money and time on the policy and subsequent work than any benefits. They were terrible—unhelpful, unsympathetic, and a waste of time.

I'm extremely disappointed in our experience with CHUBB insurance. Our policy lapsed because we never received the bill in the mail. I completed the renewal paperwork and sent the check. They held onto the check for nearly two months, depositing it a few days after it was due, which caused our policy to lapse again. There's no option to pay using a credit card or online bill pay. If CHUBB shows such little regard for retaining us as a customer, I have very little faith they would pay out on a claim should we ever need to file one. I regret every dollar I have spent with this company.

Where is a zero when you need one? They are the worst insurance company around. They send three different forensic detectives in an attempt not to pay legitimate coverages. Their investigations revealed all damages had to be covered. It took them over a year to pay a fraction of what was due to us. For those new clients or the ones that have not incurred any loss yet, please check how they react towards the wildfire clients in CA. Their true colors come out. Avoid this company with all you've got. These guys are dishonest.

Had a $300,000.00 policy that somehow turned into a $191,000.00 payout, which they said was due to inflation. My payout should have been $409,000.00 then, not them taking $109,000.00 from me. You owe me money, Chubb.

The absolute worst company to deal with. I have emailed them 20+ times for our company bill and called 10+ times for help. Either I get a foreign representative or a nice lady who keeps putting in a request, but I get no call back. Whoever Brandon Sharpton is, who is supposed to be our rep, he is not fulfilling his role. He has never called us nor reached out after emailing him as well. Stay away! I hate to think what you have to go through if someone passes away. Sad!

Horrible company. They leave you on hold for 25-45 minutes all the while stating "your call is important to us", and they say it every 7 seconds so you never get a break from it the entire 45-minute hold. Then they say to check the portal for the claim, but there is no claim on the portal even though they admit they received the claim and denied it. They denied it stating that due to having other insurance before them, they do not have to pay because the inpatient stay started before they were effective. I asked them why they took the money then if they are not going to pay the claims. The claim was for the month that the insurance was effective; they are a total rip-off. Do not sign up with them, they are garbage. If I ever have to call them again, I am going live on TikTok for the duration of the call to show everyone how terrible they are. I would give zero stars if that was an option.

Chubb withdrew $80.00 a month from my account for accidental life insurance. After two years, having had a brief conversation with the agent, I was informed that because I had a criminal record for an assault 10 years ago, I didn't qualify for insurance. I suggested they return the $1920.00 they had already taken out of my account, and I would find a different insurance company. It was never returned, and I have told everyone I know about this bogus company.

The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with—was denied Plan N because I take a mild blood pressure medication. When I called to find out why, I was placed on hold for 20 minutes and then was told that it was what it was. The representative was rude; I could tell she did not want to help. People should look elsewhere.

I've had a policy for more than three years. I put in my first claim for items that were stolen, and this company is making me go through so many interviews in order not to pay out my claim. I will be taking them to court. This Chubb Indemnity Insurance is a horrible company.

If I could give this company NEGATIVE stars, I would. They are absolutely horrible with handling claims, while they lie and say they strive to handle all claims within 5 business days. It's been three months on one claim, and they still keep playing games! I can't wait to be rid of them. I don't care how badly you need insurance, do not use them. You'd be better off paying for outside insurance.
