'Spooked' By India, Nawaz Sharif Warns Pak PM Against Aggression Over Pahalgam Attack | Report

Pakistan's longest-serving former Prime Minister has urged his brother Shehbaz Sharif to dial down tensions with India in the wake of the deadly Pahalgam terror attack. Nawaz Sharif reportedly told Shehbaz to not take aggressive position against India and resolve the matter diplomatically. His comments came in a meeting on Sunday, where the Pakistan PM was briefing him on measures taken by the government following India's suspension of Indus Waters Treaty. Watch for more details.

The tensions between India and Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack are testing the alliance of Russia and China. First, Russian President Vladimir Putin called PM Narendra Modi to vow full support to India's fight against terrorism. At the same time, China's Ambassador Jiang Zaidong met with Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad and underscored Beijing’s commitment to regional peace.
