Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was spotted sporting a high-end Rolex timepiece at a UFC match in Las Vegas this weekend. The sighting adds to a growing list of expensive timepieces he has been seen wearing in recent months. The Facebook founder also shared his pictures with his wife wearing Meta’s new Ray-Ban smart glasses.
Zuckerberg attended the UFC event on Saturday (March 8), and in his Instagram posts as well as videos shared on X by the general public, he was seen talking to Merab “The Machine” Dvalishvili – the current UFC Bantamweight Champion.
While Zuckerberg was greeting him, his distinctive yellow gold watch featuring a black dial and three white subdials was seen, complementing his otherwise minimalist attire – a black T-shirt, khaki cargo pants, black sunglasses and a thick gold chain.
According to watch experts (via Business Insider), the timepiece is a yellow gold Rolex Daytona “Le Mans.” Ng Yong Shen, a vice president at Dubai-based secondhand luxury retailer Re-Loved Luxury, estimated the watch's resale value to be approximately $300,000 (approximately 2.62 crore).
Previous sightings of Zuckerberg’s high-profile watches
In January, he was seen wearing a Greubel Forsey Hand Made 1, a rare and highly coveted watch with a price tag exceeding $900,000 (nearly Rs 8 crore), while announcing the end of Meta's fact-checking partnerships in the US. Greubel Forsey reportedly produces only two to three of these watches annually.
In September, Zuckerberg showcased a rose gold De Bethune DB 25 Starry Varius during an interview on the business podcast “Acquired,” a watch valued around $90,000 (approx Rs 79 lakh) and $95,700.
Mark Zuckerberg reveals the company's latest smart glasses
Zuckerberg also unveiled “the new limited edition Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni frames.” He shared a photo in his Instagram Channel, donning the news smart glasses. This release follows Meta's recent teaser about "an exciting collaboration" coming soon. The frames feature a translucent design similar to Meta's previous limited editions.
According to a newly published Meta blog post, the Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni smart glasses will be available at a price of $549. The company has also released additional images showcasing the translucent design of these premium frames.
