However, their sadness was short-lived as their sharpshooter, Stephen Curry, entered the 4,000 postseason points club, hitting a significant milestone in his career. The player’s achievement was acknowledged by both the NBA and the Warriors, who appreciated the player for making history.

When he entered the court, Stephen Curry was just three points away from the coveted 4,000 playoff points figure. His fiery performance helped him meet the figure in no time. Curry ended the game scoring 20 points, winning him the achievement that basketball stars live for.

The basketball fraternity and fans celebrated Stephen Curry’s achievement and heaped praise on him. NBA highlighted Stephen Curry’s achievement in an appreciation post on X. Their tweet read:
“Steph picking up where he left off in Game 2
With this 3, he's the 11th player in NBA history to record 4,000+ postseason PTS!”

At the time of writing this article, the NBA’s post garnered 112.8K views. Curry supporters expressed pleasure and appreciated him for his remarkable achievement.

Though Stephen Curry’s achievement pumped positive energy into the team in the first quarter, they could not hold the lead for long, and the matchup ended in the Rockets’ favor.

“Only 11 players in NBA history have reached 4,000 career playoff points.

With 20 points contributed in Game 2 against the Houston Rockets, Curry’s total playoff points figure reached 4,017.
