Bregman's new teammates are excited to share the locker room with him, including the second baseman Vaughn Grissom. Grissom recently expressed how he "can't wait to meet him," as the Red Sox head into the Spring Training.

Vaughn Grissom recently appeared in front of the media and shared his reaction to Alex Bregman's $120 Million signing with the Boston Red Sox. According to MassLive's Chris Cotillo, Grissom shared his excitement to play alongside Bregman and said:
“I’d say it motivates me, for sure. Obviously, I would like to share the field with him. I wouldn’t be selfish and get upset because you never know. "Anything can happen. … It’s hard to guess what happens in this game. But yeah, it motivates me. I feel ready to go and I can’t wait to meet him, honestly. I’m still going to try to be the best ballplayer I can be and help the team win however I can in whatever role that may be. You never know what can happen," Grissom further added.
Apart from Vaughn Grissom, the Boston Red Sox's manager Alex Cora also talked about his relationship with Alex Bregman during his press conference appearance on Thursday. Talking about having a "good relationship" with Bregman, Cora said:
“As a person, it’s a kid that I really respect, I really like. We went through a lot for a while there. And we have a good relationship. You guys will see — you’ve seen it before.
