I don't speak to MS Dhoni, says Harbhajan Singh

Harbhajan Singh reveals he no longer speaks to MS Dhoni despite their shared history in cricket, including playing together for Team India and the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Harbhajan notes the lack of personal interaction and Dhoni's unresponsiveness to his calls, suggesting there might be unspoken reasons for their limited communication.

Harbhajan Singh played under MS Dhoni's captaincy, including during the T20 World Cup win in 2007, the ODI World Cup triumph in 2011 and for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK); but the former India off-spinner says he doesn't speak to Dhoni any longer.
"No, I don't speak to Dhoni," Harbhajan said talking to News18. "I don't have anything against him. If he has something to say, he can tell me. But if he did, he would have told me by now."

Harbhajan, a bowling great with 417 wickets in 103 Tests, didn't elaborate much on the reasons about his differences with MS Dhoni but added that his interaction with CSK's 'Thala' was limited to on-field talks only during his playing days in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
"When I was playing at CSK, that's when we spoke; but otherwise, we haven't spoken. It's been 10 years and more. I have no reason; perhaps he does. I don't know what the reasons are. When we were playing in the IPL at CSK, that's when we used to talk, and that too was restricted to the ground. After that, he did not come to my room, nor did I go to his," said Harbhajan, who also played 236 ODIs and 25 T20Is, taking 269 and 25 wickets respectively.
The former off-spinner also indicated that Dhoni doesn't respond to his calls.
"I only ring up those who pick up my calls. I don't have the time otherwise," said 44-year-old Harbhajan, who does commentary stints now. "I stay in touch with the ones I am friends with. A relationship is always about give and take. If I respect you, I hope you will respect me back. Or you respond to me. But if I call you once or twice but don't get a response, I will probably only meet you as much as I need to."
