Rashmika Mandanna is currently busy shooting for the highly anticipated horror-comedy 'Thama' in the scenic hills of Ooty. She has been sharing glimpses of her shoot on social media, giving fans a peek at the beautiful locations and her night shoots.
Recently, Rashmika posted a serene picture of lush greenery after a day’s shoot. Sharing a snap on Instagram stories she wrote, "Today’s view after shoot…too damn beautiful know?" Later she shared a picture having dinner with her team.

About the film 'Thama'

'Thama' marks Rashmika's first collaboration with Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana and is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, known for 'Munjya'. The movie falls under the same universe as 'Stree' and 'Bhediya'.

The film is a love story wrapped in a horror-comedy, revolving around a determined historian who uncovers dark secrets related to local vampire myths as supernatural forces begin to awaken. The screenplay is penned by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara.

Alongside Rashmika and Ayushmann, the film features veteran actors Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in important roles, promising a strong ensemble cast. The makers are aiming for a grand Diwali 2025 release.

Rashmika Mandanna's other projects

Rashmika was last seen in the Salman Khan starrer 'Sikandar', directed by AR Murugadoss, which was released on Eid this year. The film had a strong opening but struggled to maintain momentum at the box office. It crossed Rs 90 crore by the end of its first week. However, collections declined sharply in the second week.
Looking ahead, Rashmika has an exciting lineup. She is gearing up for Sekhar Kammula's 'Kuberaa', where she will star alongside Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
She will be further working on a Telugu romantic drama, 'The Girlfriend' directed by Rahul Ravindran.
