The Telugu-language crime thriller, directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, continues to garner solid footfall, especially during weekend shows.

Impressive Opening Week Performance

‘HIT: The Third Case’ began its box office journey with a strong Rs 21 crore opening day collection, primarily driven by the Telugu version (Rs 20.25 crore).The momentum continued over the weekend, with collections remaining stable on Day 2 (Rs 10.5 crore) and Day 3 (Rs 10.4 crore). The film wrapped up its first week with a robust Rs 63.65 crore net from all languages, including dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam.

Steady Hold in Second Weekend

Despite a noticeable drop on weekdays, HIT 3 maintained decent numbers into its second weekend. After earning Rs 2 crore on Day 9 (Friday), it showed an upward trend with Rs 2.5 crore on Day 10 (Saturday), as per early estimates. The Telugu version alone contributed significantly, supported by moderate performances in other language markets.

Occupancy and Our Verdict

On May 10 (Saturday), the film recorded an overall 23.23% occupancy in Telugu markets, with the highest turnout during afternoon and night shows. ETimes gave a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5 for the movie, and our review reads, “HIT: The Third Case is a well-mounted, hard-hitting thriller that firmly establishes Nani in the crime-action genre. Though its intensity and disturbing imagery may not appeal to everyone, fans of dark thrillers will find it worth the ride.”
