Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi's film to skip THIS component: Reports

Megastar Chiranjeevi has teamed up with acclaimed director Anil Ravipudi for a comedy entertainer, tentatively titled 'Mega 157', after his 2025 January blockbuster 'Sankranthiki Vasthunam' Recent reports suggest that the film might not include a specific part in the film.
According to a 123Telugu report, the film is expected to be a laugh-out-loud comedy, this time focusing entirely on humour without a romantic track. The report also suggests that it will give an approach to comedy, drawing inspiration from films like 'Gang Leader'. Anil Ravipudi plans to give Chiranjeevi a unique accent and body language. The absence of a romantic subplot allows the film to concentrate on comedic elements.

Earlier it was suggested that the film will begin shooting in May 2025, and is expected to wrap up within three months, with a planned release during the Sankranti 2026 festival season.
The music for this comedy entertainer will be composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
On the other hand, Chiranjeevi is also working on 'Vishwambhara' which is a mega mythological-fantasy film. Initially planned for release during Sankranti 2025, 'Vishwambhara' was postponed to avoid a clash with Ram Charan's 'Game Changer'. The film's teaser faced criticism for its visual effects, prompting Chiranjeevi to request rework on the VFX, further delaying the release. Recent buzz suggests that the film might now be released on August 22, 2025, coinciding with Chiranjeevi's birthday.

The film will feature Trisha Krishnan, Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ashika Ranganath, and others.
