Red Velvet Wendy joins a new agency; New video teaser and photos stun fans

Red Velvet's Wendy has made headlines yet again as she has signed with a new agency. On April 25, her new agency shared the announcement that Wendy from Red Velvet will be joining their artist roster. The agency also houses fromis_9 as well.
After leaving her previous entertainment agency, Red Velvet’s Wendy has joined a new agency. Representatives from her new company also shared the news heartily with an official statement.
They shared that “Wendy signed an exclusive contract with ASND. We are happy to work with an artist who has proven her exceptional capabilities in various fields.” They added, “We plan on actively cooperating with Wendy’s activities with Red Velvet. We will do our best to make Wendy, who believed in ASND, shine even brighter,” as shared by Soompi.
Along with a statement, the company also shared a brief video as well as photographs from a new photoshoot to share the announcement with fans and the public.


As the company shared the video online on their social media accounts, fans went into a flurry of emotions and started sharing their reactions online.



Many fans wished the artist well and supported her decision, while others also wished that the company would take care of her.
Red Velvet’s Wendy and Yeri had both earlier left their respective companies as soon as their contracts with the firms expired. Fans had been worried about the group’s future at the time; however, they were reassured as their former agency confirmed that the group will remain active. Wendy had previously made her solo debut in 2021 when she released her first solo mini-album, ‘Like Water.’ After this, the singer also released another sophomore EP titled ‘Wish You Hell.’
