As Kangana’s family was against her acting career, she was asked to leave the house if she didn’t follow the rules. After leaving the Ranaut house, she reportedly lived with a friend, Jaspreet, who was 10 years older than her. As she was staying alone, far away from home, she did everything she could to manage the necessities. However, her father wanted to help and tried giving her ₹50,000, but she rejected in the determination of fulfilling her dreams on her own, according to India TV.
Kangana Ranaut hated taking showers to the extent that her parents were ‘fed up.’ During an event, she said, “I was really lazy, and hated taking a shower. My parents were fed up. Honestly, nothing good ever happened in my life during that phase. I didn't make friends, no opportunities came my way.”

Kangana’s father wanted to shoot her with rifle after she opted to choose her ambitious dream over studies. In an interview with Manoj Muntashir, the actress revealed that while her father encouraged to have her dreams, when she wanted to join theatre, but allegedly had an issue when the dreams got larger, when she wanted to pursue a career in acting.
Ranaut’s further stated that in the traditional household, such as her, it is important to not cross the ‘Laxman Rekha.’ “He said it like how Rajput families say, ‘Get my rifle, I will shoot her’. I am saying this in very civil words,” she said. She added, “That tradition is still there that if you cross the Laxman rekha, then you will be shot with a rifle.”
Kangana Ranaut rejected an endorsement of a fairness cream brand of worth ₹2 crores. “Ever since I was a kid, I have never understood the concept of fairness. Especially, in such a case, as a celebrity, what kind of an example would I be setting for younger people? I have no regrets about turning this offer down. As a public figure, I have responsibilities,” she said, according to the Hindustan Times.
Kangana Ranaut co-wrote the dialogues for her trailblazing film, ‘Queen,’ and deservingly got credited for it. “I like it when characters find their own language in the in the film.
