Priyamani calls ‘The Family Man’ co-star Manoj Bajpayee an ace dancer; reveals actor danced to Vicky Kaushal’s 'Tauba Tauba'

Manoj Bajpayee became a household name for playing Srikant Tiwari in the hit series The Family Man. Over time, many of his co-stars have shared fun facts about him and his antics on the sets. Recently, actress Priyamani, who plays his wife Suchitra in the show, revealed something surprising—she said Manoj is a fantastic dancer! In fact, he even taught the cast how to do Vicky Kaushal’s Tauba Tauba hook step while they were on set.

While speaking to Humans of Bombay, actress Priyamani shared how much she enjoys working with Manoj Bajpayee. She described him as a complete delight both on and off-screen.

Priyamani also shared a fun behind-the-scenes story from The Family Man set. She revealed, “I don’t think anybody has recorded it by Manoj sir actually did that Vicky Kaushal’s Tauba Tauba step and we absolutely lost it.”
Fun moment on set with Vedant Sinha
Looking back, Priyamani shared a light-hearted memory from the sets of The Family Man. She praised Vedant Sinha, the young actor who played Atharv Tiwari, calling him a phenomenal dancer.
One day, while they were chatting about Vicky Kaushal’s hook step from the song Tauba Tauba, Vedant suddenly started doing it. Impressed, the team asked him to teach them. That’s when Manoj Bajpayee stepped in and said, “It’s pretty easy. “He actually did it. We were all so surprised that he did,” said Priyamani.
Manoj Bajpayee to reunite with Neeraj Pandey for new film
On the work front, Manoj Bajpayee is all set to collaborate with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey for an upcoming feature film which began shooting in Mumbai on April 18.
While Neeraj will be creatively leading the project, the film will mark the directorial debut of Ritesh Shah and will also feature Akshay Oberoi in a key role.
