Amid feud over documentary, Nayanthara and Dhanush ignore each other at producer Aakash Baskaran's wedding - WATCH

Nayanthara and Dhanush attended producer Aakash Baskaran's wedding on Thursday but ignored each other. This happened amid their ongoing feud over the Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.
A video posted by Nayanthara’s security on Instagram showed them sitting in the front row with an aisle between them, not acknowledging each other.

The security team shared a video of Nayanthara at the wedding, wearing a pink saree with her hair tied in a bun. She was accompanied by Vignesh, who wore a traditional white veshti. Nayanthara posed for photos before sitting in the front row, talking to other guests. The video then shifts to show Dhanush sitting at the other end of the aisle in the same row.

The tension started when Nayanthara posted an open letter to Dhanush on Instagram, criticizing him for not giving a no-objection certificate to use footage from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale. The film, directed by Vignesh, featured Nayanthara in the lead role, and it’s where she and Vignesh fell in love. Nayanthara also claimed that Dhanush sued them for Rs 10 crore over a 3-second behind-the-scenes clip used in the trailer.

Dhanush chose not to respond to the allegations, but his father, Kasthuri Raja, mentioned in an interview that they prioritize their work and are focused on moving forward. He stated that they don't have time to address those who criticize or talk behind their backs. He also declined to comment on the claims regarding Nayanthara waiting two years for the NOC.
