Sunny Deol's 'Jaat' which also stars Randeep Hooda and Vineet Kumar Singh, released in theatres on April 10. The film has been doing decently well at the box office but now has begun seeing a drop in the business, ever since Akshay Kumar's 'Kesari 2' hit the screens. Of course, even another movie 'Ground Zero' released after that, but as of now, 'Kesari 2' is dominating at the box office, followed by the re-release of 'Andaz Apna Apna'.

New releases perform better

Amidst the newer releases, 'Kesari 2' made Rs 2.50 crore on Tuesday, as compared to 'Jaat's' Rs 65 lakhs. Thus, this is a huge edge over the movie. Meanwhile, Emraan Hashmi's 'Ground Zero' made around Rs 63 lakhs on Tuesday. Meanwhile, 'Andaz Apna Apna' has also re-released in theatres on Friday and in four days, the film crossed Rs 1 crore. It is doing quite well at the box office. The film had already sold over 5,000 tickets in the advance booking for day 1.
May 1 is a holiday which may benefit 'Jaat', however, the new release 'Raid 2' may dominate over 'Jaat', 'Kesari 2' both if it gets positive reviews and good word of mouth.
