The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is gearing up to announce the Class 10th results for 2025 in the first week of May. With over 16 lakh students having appeared for the board exams this year, excitement is running high. Students will be able to check their mark sheets online at the official websites — mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in — once the results are declared.
In 2024, the MPBSE Class 10 results were announced on April 24, following exams held from February 5 to February 28. Students needed at least 33% marks in each subject to pass. The overall pass percentage stood at 64.49%, with girls outperforming boys once again. Girls achieved a pass percentage of 68.43%, while boys recorded 60.55%.
The list of toppers for the 2024 Class 10 examinations included Ms Anushka Agarwal, Ms Rekha Rebari, Ms Ishmita Tomar, and Ms Sneha Patel, who secured the highest marks across the state.
Students dissatisfied with their 2025 results will be able to apply for re-evaluation shortly after the announcement. The reassessment results are tentatively expected by June 2025. Meanwhile, those who fail to clear one or more subjects can appear for the supplementary exams scheduled for July 2025, with results likely to be declared in August 2025.
Looking back, the MPBSE has consistently maintained a minimum pass mark requirement of 33% in both theory and practical exams. In the 2023 board exams, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 was 63.29%, again reflecting a stronger performance by girls compared to boys.
As the countdown begins, students are advised to keep their roll numbers and application numbers ready for quick access to their results once they are published online.
