Karnataka based construction firm donates Rs 1.23 crore to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams

Sri Srinivasa Construction India Pvt Ltd from Bellary donated Rs 1.23 crore to various TTD trusts. They offered prayers at the Tirumala temple and presented donations to the TTD Additional EO. The Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam temple cleansing ritual will be held on March 25, followed by the Ugadi festival on March 30, affecting VIP break darshan and arjitha sevas.

TIRUMALA: Representatives of Bellary-based Sri Srinivasa Construction India Pvt Ltd in Karnataka donated Rs 1.23 crore to various trusts operated by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD).
The representatives of the construction firm from Bellary offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple on Tuesday.
Later, they met TTD Additional EO CH Venkaiah Chowdary at his camp office in Tirumala and handed over donations of Rs 1.01 crore to the SV Annaprasadam Trust, Rs 11.11 lakh each to the SV Pranadanam Trust and the SV Vidyadanam Trust.
Venkaiah Chowdary thanked the donors for their generosity and assured them that the TTD would further enhance its philanthropic activities with the support of such contributions from devotees.
Meanwhile, the Additional EO announced that the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam temple cleansing ritual will be held at the Tirumala temple on March 25 (Tuesday) as a prelude to the Telugu New Year Ugadi celebrations on March 30.
He added that the TTD trust has cancelled VIP break darshan and various arjitha sevas at the Tirumala temple on March 25 and March 30 due to the Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam and Ugadi festival. He appealed to devotees to take note of these changes and plan their pilgrimage to Tirumala accordingly.
