How would I merge tabs into other tabs as windows?

If i have multiple tabs open

Tab A
Tab B
Tab C

Is it possible to merge Tab A with Tab B in a vertical/horizontal layout i.e. Tab B should now have vertically split with Tab A

From

Tab A	Tab B	Tab C
Window A	Window B	Window C

To

Tab A	Tab C
Window A (split) Window B	Window C

Even tho I added allow_remote_control yes to my config and reloaded preferences, it didn't work, but quitting kitty fully and opened it up again fixed the issue.
