Still Require .NET 6 since you updated to .NET 9?

I just installed PeperNote then downloaded NET9.0.1 desktopRuntime and AspNetCore to my newly purchased HPlaptop with latest Window-11-Pro 24H2 installed.

• Double clicking the icon flashes a pop-up new-note then instantly crashes the App.
• So since I mistakenly thought I had already installed a older version of DOT-NET prior Installing PeperNote my question is do I still need NET-6.0 as stated README.md #tech...
• Or do you need to update the README's paragraph to NET-6.0 or later and clarify installation order?
• My problem maybe related to a registry or a misc. windows error.

Oh that's interesting, I will double check and see if I have a hidden .net 6 dependency somewhere. Thanks for reporting!

Unfortunately I could not reproduce the problem on a clean W11 virtual machine (i.e. one that didn't have visual studio or .NET installed). If it's not too much trouble, could you have a look at your Event Viewer (Start menu, Event Viewer, select Windows Logs, Application) and see if there are Error entries related to PeperNote, maybe there are clues in the error message.
