Clean up all build warnings caused by Helium patches.

The problem

We have a lot of build warnings from patched out code and we should get rid of them, because otherwise they might mask real warnings that should be resolved.

Possible solutions

Modify patches so that warnings are gone

@R0h1tAnand Sure, feel free to open a PR. Note that we do have quite a lot of build warnings, and not all of them are from helium/ patches, so it might be best to keep it small and not fix everything at once.
