Miele Integration Spamming the logs (7808 occurrences)

The problem

The Miele integration is spamming the logs with "Connection was closed, restarting"

I have nearly 8000 entries, so it's making it hard to read the logs for other issues. Can we please stop this?

Thank you for the report. We have not seens this happen before. What is the typical time interval between the logs? Anything logged in between?
Please turn on debug logging for a while if this happens again.

The time interval is roughly 6 times every minute. See the log file for the details (with debug turned on).

Note: The hob_plate_1 error is new. The "Connection was closed, restarting" error has been happening before the hob error started.

Thank you. The hob_plate error is hopefully fixed in HA 2025.8.0 that is due for release later today (CET).
"Connection closed..." is caused by problem with Miele cloud servers. I got a burst of 12 log entries at 12.04 (CET DST) today on a couple of my HA instances (production, test, and dev). I will try to fix so they don't spam the log if the outage is prolonged.

I see this happening in my logs as well, I also noticed in addition the the connection reset that there is a log line:

Opening that url in a browser results in a 500 internal server error.

I am likewise seeing this; can confirm it's roughly every 10 seconds / 6 times per minute. Re-configuring / Re-authenticating the integration did not have an effect. From an end-user perspective, the integration appears functional, but the logs are completely polluted with this warning.

Miele has severe problems with the public API after a major update 4 days ago. The realtime updates dont work but the backup routine polls for states every two minutes. Miele has confirmed that they are working to restore the service ASAP.

If you want to silence the log you can enter following in your configuration.yaml and restart HA:

logger:
  logs:
    pymiele: error

Remember to remove the pymiele line when the API is healthy again.

Well, they mention the upgrade on september 12, but not a single word about the problems that occurred. I have a direct channel into their development team so I get valuable updates from time to time, but I think it would be a good idea if they publish their service status e.g. on a page like this https://easee.statuspage.io
