Google Sheets setup incorrectly forces OAuth flow instead of asking for Service Account

The problem

When I go to Settings > Devices & Services and try to add the Google Sheets integration, Home Assistant immediately redirects me to a Google sign-in page. This sign-in fails with a redirect_uri_mismatch error. It never shows the pop-up window to paste the Service Account JSON credentials. I have confirmed I am clicking on the correct 'Google Sheets' integration. I also tried the old YAML configuration method and received an error that it is no longer supported

Did you create a new client id with the "web application" type and add the "https://my.home-assistant.io/redirect/oauth" as the URI? I had a similar error when I tried to reuse my calendar client id which I later noticed is explicitly stated as incorrect in the docs.

For me, following the Scenario 2 worked perfectly. I did end up with an extra project, but likely all I needed to do was create a new Client ID.
