Docker image registry name

Unless I am missing something, would it not be useful to tell people the OCI URL for the docker image? Allow them to run docker run github/mcp?

It states:

The image is public; if you get errors on pull, you may have an expired token and need to docker logout ghcr.io.

But not what the image is called?

Thanks for your question @lukehinds the docker image is ghcr.io/github/github-mcp-server and it's linked in all the configuration examples for running the stdio server. You are welcome to add links to any section you think is appropriate, would happily accept a PR if you think a specific documentation gap is present.
