Startup time for custom AMI

What are normal startup times for custom AMIs with the runner installed? I'm seeing 45 - 60 seconds after optimizing the AMI. I've turned off the Cloudwatch agent, SSM, etc. It seems like half of this is spent starting the runner (retrieving SSM values, etc.).

Any optimizations are greatly appreciated.

Any improvement to optimize is welcome. I never checked the difference with cloudwatch agent. In our case we have similar times for our ubuntu runners, arm a bit faster. Maybe some optimailization with EBS can be done.
