    Man crashes car into Jennifer Aniston's home
    The officials have not yet disclosed any information about the charges
    A man crashed through the gates of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel-Air mansion on Monday. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the officials received a call at 12:20 p.m. about the crash, and when Officer Tony Im arrived with his team, they witnessed the security guard holding the man at gunpoint.


    Suspect and possible charges

    According to TMZ, when the incident occurred, Aniston’s security guard quickly approached the car and got the man out and held him till the arrival of LAPD. The man was described as an adult roughly in his 70s and was detained by the Los Angeles Police Department.

    The officials have not yet disclosed any information about the charges. As per ABC7 News, the man was detained for felony property damage. The FRIENDS star Jennifer Aniston was reportedly at the mansion when the incident occurred.

    The actress was unharmed during the incident. While some indicated the crash may have been just an accident, others suggested the incident did not appear to be accidental. The LAPD has launched a detailed investigation to determine the man’s motives. So far, it was known that the man had minor criminal records, and there was no evidence found for targeting Aniston’s mansion.


    Jennifer Aniston’s comment

    Aniston’s team has declined to comment on this matter as the LAPD continues with the inquiries. Although no one was injured, the incident raised concerns about the safety at celebrity residences.


    About the mansion

    According to Architectural Digest, the 1965 Bel-Air mansion was designed by renowned architect A. Quincy Jones and was later renovated by Frederick Fisher. Jennifer Aniston purchased the mansion in 2012 for under $21 million. At the time of purchase, the mansion included a guesthouse, vineyards, and swimming pools. Later, Aniston got married to Justin Theroux in 2015 at the house and lived together until 2018 before getting divorced.

    As per New York Post reports, the incident occurred at a time when Aniston was already preparing to leave the Bel-Air property and move into a $15 million house in Montecito, which the actress bought from Oprah Winfrey in 2022. Like many other celebrities, Aniston is also preparing to leave Los Angeles for the beautiful community of Santa Barbara.
