Teachers’ Corner

Welcome to the Easy Reading Corner!

Here you will find booklets that explain, as simply as possible, what the European Union is and what it does.

You can also find maps, posters and postcards and booklets about the EU for young people.

Our products are published in 22 official languages of the European Union and can be read in full at this site.

If you're looking for information on a specific topic, check our list of topics. You can also use the “search” in the upper right hand corner.

If you already know what title you're looking for, you can find it by going to our alphabetical list of booklet titles.

Printed copies of the publications on this site are normally distributed free of charge, subject to availability. They can be obtained from the many EU Info Points and Commission Representations in EU countries, from Commission Delegations in other countries around the world and in many other places.

You can also order a printed copy by clicking on the icon "single copy", when you look at a particular publication on this site.

Other European Commission departments and EU bodies also produce a wide range of publications. You can find them via the "EU bookshop".

The section "Archives" at this site contains old publications, where the information is no longer complete and updated.

If you need more detailed information about the EU and its activities, or you have a specific question you want answered, contact the Europe Direct call center, either by e-mail or by calling the free phone number 00 800 6 7 8 9 10 11 from anywhere in the EU.

We would be pleased to read your comments about the Easy Reading Corner and our publications. Please send them to our mail-box.
