Monday through Thursday Schedule:
8:30am - Optional Extended Care Early Drop-off 9:00am - Camper Drop-off
9:00am-9:30am - Warm-up Activities, Movement/Stretching
9:30-11am: First Class (campers will rotate with their age groups throughout the day to attend all classes: Visual Arts, Exploration, and Performance. There is a short period of time at the end of each class for a snack)
11am-12:30pm: Second Class (campers will rotate with their age groups throughout the day to attend all classes: Visual Arts, Exploration, and Performance. There is a short period of time at the end of each class for a snack)
12:30pm-1:30pm: Lunch/Freeplay Activities
1:30pm-3pm: Third Class (campers will rotate with their age groups throughout the day to attend all classes: Visual Arts, Exploration, and Performance. There is a short period of time at the end of each class for a snack)
3pm: Camper Pick-up. *LAST CAMPER PICK-UP MUST BE BY 3:30PM*
Late Pickups after 3:30 PM will result in a late fee
Friday Schedule - every Friday culminates in an artshow showcasing the artworks created by Campers during the week, as well as a brief Performance written/directed/acted by the Campers. Our Friday classes are shortened to allow for Performance rehearsal time and campers to participate in curating their art show:
8:30am: optional Early Camper Drop-off
9:00am: Camper Drop-off/morning movement
9:30-10:30: First Class
10:30-11:30: Second Class
11:30-12:30: Lunch
12:30-1:30: Third Class
1:30-3:00: Prep for art show and Performance rehearsals
3:00pm: Performance - Family and Friends are invited to join us for a brief Performance by the Campers! Art by the Campers will also be displayed in the gallery.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made at least 2 weeks or more before the start of camp can be refunded but will incur a 20% administration fee. Cancellations made the week before the start of camp will incur a 30% administrative fee. Cancellations made after the start of camp onward, including cancellations due to camper illness do not qualify for a refund. Please read our illnesses policy section in the camp handbook carefully for more information. If a camper is dismissed from camp due to behavioral issues, tuition will not be refunded. Please read our Emotional, Behavioral, Social section in the camp handbook for more information. Registration is first come, first served. Once the camper capacity has been met per week, we will close registration for that week.
CFAER reserves the right to photograph, record and digitally document workshop participants, teaching artists and visitors to our location and artworks created and displayed onsite. This media is used for promotional, non-commercial and educational purposes online and in print. By participating during CFAER activities, you and on behalf of children consent to the use of your/their appearance and likeness by CFAER, the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs and its licensees, designees, or assignees, in all media, worldwide, in perpetuity. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE A NO NUT FACILITY. PLEASE DO NOT PACK ANY SNACKS OR LUNCHES CONTAINING NUTS, OR WE WILL HAVE TO THROW THEM AWAY AND REQUEST A NEW SNACK OR LUNCH BE DROPPED OFF.
