Rand Paul MD is a an eye surgeon from Bowling Green, Kentucky. As the son of Ron Paul (R-Tx), he is active in his father's campaign and often speaks as a surrogate for his father. Rand Paul founded the Kentucky Taxpayers United which rates the state legislature. He is a frequent contributor on PBS's Kentucky Tonight. Rand has been active in politics since knocking on his first door to distribute literature for his father, Ron Paul, in 1974.
