    Corpus Christi's Live Greyhound Racing is one of Texas' premiere activities. Racing performances are nightly at 7:30pm Thursdays thru Saturdays with matinees on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30pm. The gates open one hour before the first posted race. Full card simulcasts of Greyhounds and Thoroughbreds begin daily at 11:00 AM. What better way to spend an evening than by enjoying the thrills of Live Greyhound Racing. Corpus Christi presents 13 races at every performance. Extra matinees are added on Memorial Day, Independance Day, and Labor Day weekends
USS Lexington Museum

    The USS Lexington Museum is open seven days a week except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Museum opens at 9:00 a.m. Ticket sales close at 4:30 p.m., and the Museum closes at 5:00. All tours are self guided and involve climbing steep stairways; so comfortable clothing and shoes with non-skid soles are recommended.

    The Center provides an adventure into the past, present, and future of NASA's manned space flight program with interactive exhibits, IMAX films, and behind-the-scenes tram tours of JSC, home of America's astronauts. Original space hardware, such as a Mercury capsule, Gemini spacecraft, and Apollo 17 command module are displayed in simulated natural settings.

    moored at san jacinto battleground, battleship texas is patterned after the H.M.S. Dreadnought and is the only surviving U.S. Navy battleship to have fought in both world wars. Considered the most advanced military weapon in the world when it was first commissioned in 1914, the battleship was modernized many times over with the latest in cutting-edge technology. She was the first battleship to launch aircraft, carry 14-inch guns and to have commercial radar.

    Mustang Island State Park is 3954 acres with about 5 miles of beach on the Gulf of Mexico in Nueces County, south of Port Aransas. It was acquired from private owners in 1972 and opened to the public in 1979. Activities include camping, picnicking, fishing, swimming, hiking and mountain biking on 5 miles of open beach, sunbathing, hiking, surfing, and excellent birding, especially during spring and fall migrations.
